  • PepsiCo launches Mountain Dew Ice with new TVC

    PepsiCo has unveiled its first TVC campaign to introduce Mountain Dew Ice. The ‘Made for India’ Mountain Dew Ice has been developed to suit the Indian palate and reiterates the brand’s philosophy of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ with new tagline “Har chunauti hogi paar, bas chahiye jeetne ki aag aur thanda dimaag”, notes a communique.

    Said Vineet Sharma, Category Director- Mountain Dew & Sting, PepsiCo India: “We are very excited to unveil the first-ever brand campaign for Mountain Dew Ice. The launch of Mountain Dew Ice has been a significant milestone for us in our beverage category innovation journey. With the new campaign, we are taking the Mountain Dew core brand’s philosophy of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ and giving it an ‘Ice’ twist. The idea is to inspire the youth that they can overcome any obstacles in their way if they just keep a cool mind along with the fire to win while facing  their fears head-on. We are confident that consumers will relate to the new campaign strongly and shower Mountain Dew Ice with the same love that our other campaigns for Mountain Dew have received over the years.”

  • Slice launches new TVC

    Mango drink Slice brand has unveiled its ‘Sabse Thick Sabse Tasty’ campaign accompanied by a new TVC featuring brand ambassador Katrina Kaif.

  • Kurkure campaign for masala moments

    Snack brand Kurkure has unveiled a new campaign, along with brand ambassador and actor Akshay Kumar. The new campaign ‘Ab Laga Masala’ is based on the insight that there is a sense of monotony has set-in in people’s lives – with everyday activities seeming dull and boring.

     

    Said Dilen Gandhi, Senior Director and Category Head – Foods, PepsiCo India: “Through our latest campaign, we aim to inspire our fans and consumers across India to break the monotony and humdrum of life by adding a touch of ‘masala’. Through this campaign, we want to showcase how consumers can infuse fun and humour into their routines with Kurkure, making everyday moments ‘memorable’ and not ‘mundane’.”

     

    Speaking about the campaign, Senthil Kumar, Chief Creative Officer, Wunderman Thompson, India said, “Kurkure has always been an integral part of the Indian family. Whether it’s celebrating each other’s quirks together or saving each other from boredom.  The team came up with this interesting idea to use Kurkure as a device that unlocks full family entertainment. Extremely relevant in these times when we tend to get bored so easily. Akshay’s superb comic timing and the use of Kurkure as the remote makes the ad memorable and fun to watch.”

     

     

  • Pepsi celebrates friendship with swag

    Beverage major Pepsi has unveiled a new campaign featuring brand ambassadors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani that celebrates friendship with swag.. Through this campaign, the brand has launched a new limited-edition friendship pack of 600 ml available at Rs 30.

  • Kurkure & Lay’s kick off festive season campaign with AK & RK

    Ahead of the upcoming festive season, Kurkure, has launched two campaigns. The campaigns promote an initiative with Airtel offering a special digital experience for all its prepaid customers. The TVCs feature Kurkure’s brand ambassador Akshay Kumar and Lay’s brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor were launched promoting the initiative.

With this campaign, the brand has created a series asking people to capture moments of disruption that they see around themselves everyday and #BlameItOnCrunch of Doritos.

  • Mountain Dew gets Sukhwinder Singh for anthem

    Beverage brand Mountain Dew is saluting India’s resilient spirit this Independence Day with a rendition of the timeless anthem of patriotism, ‘Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawaano Ka’ from Saregama. Mountain Dew’s take on the powerful anthem has been composed by music producer/composer Ram Sampath, and features vocals from singer Sukhwinder Singh. The lyrics of the rendition, written by lyricist Swanand Kirkire, reiterate the brand philosophy of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ and salutes the nation’s spirit of emerging victorious in the face of fear.

The song is built on an insight wherein the brand conducted a poll and found that in current times,  87% consumers are missing their friends immensely while at home.

  • Deepika Warrier joins Diageo India as CMO, Julie Bramham is Global Brand Director for Johnnie Walker

    Alcohol beverage major Diageo India has announced the appointment of Deepika Warrier as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective July 27. Julie Bramham, currently CMO of Diageo India, will move to Amsterdam as Global Brand Director for Johnnie Walker.

     

    Warrier, till recently, was Managing Director & CEO, Nourishco Beverages (formerly, a 50:50 Joint Venture between PepsiCo India and Tata Consumer Products). She joins Diageo after spending over two decades at PepsiCo, where she held key positions including CMO for PepsiCo India and Vice President for the nutrition category across multiple geographies.

     

    Commenting on the changes, Anand Kripalu, Managing Director and CEO, Diageo India said: “We are delighted to welcome Deepika to the Diageo India family. Her strong consumer-centric approach combined with her transformational leadership skills makes her a tremendous asset to Diageo.
