  • DBS Bank highlights Singaporean heritage, commitment to India

    DBS Bank has unveiled a comprehensive 360-degree campaign in India, highlighting its Singaporean heritage and commitment to India. The campaign is being promoted across platforms such as television, out of home, digital and social media. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the integrated campaign kicked off with the TVC featuring brand ambassador, Sachin Tendulkar.

     

    Commenting on the campaign, Shoma Narayanan, Executive Director – Group Strategic Marketing & Communications at DBS Bank India said: “The campaign underlines our ongoing commitment to India. It is the beginning of a story that we want to share – A story about the bank’s vision to be a partner in modern India’s growth story, while celebrating our rich Singaporean heritage.”

  • COO-West Rakesh Hinduja exits Leo Burnett India

    Leo Burnett Group India, has announced that Rakesh Hinduja, COO, Leo Burnett, West, will be moving on from the agency in order to pursue other opportunities. Hinduja has been with the group for over 14 years and in his current role was COO West for Leo Burnett India.

  • Publicis Groupe appoints Anupriya Acharya as CEO, South Asia…

    Publicis Groupe has  announced the appointment of Anupriya Acharya as Chief Executive Officer, South Asia. Saurabh Varma, currently CEO of Publicis Communications, has exited the group. The reasons for his sudden departure are not known.

    In this newly created role, Acharya will be leading Publicis Groupe’s country agenda across India and Sri Lanka. Her primary responsibilities will include driving greater integration across the group’s operations to deliver “end-to-end marketing transformation to existing clients while winning the trust of new ones, as well as cultivating and attracting the best talent across agencies and practices”. The India leadership team, comprising all the agencies’ CEOs, including creative, media, digital, influence, data and technology will report to her.

She and I have been working together for a number of years, I am really impressed with her achievements to date and I cannot think of a better leader to take on this extremely important responsibility.     Acharya started her career at Ogilvy in 1994 and worked at a number of agencies before joining Publicis Groupe in 2013 as CEO of Zenith. In 2016, she was elevated to CEO of Publicis Media where her mandate encompassed all the Groupe media agencies including Zenith, Starcom, and Performics. In this stint, she has more than doubled the operations in three years through expanding capabilities in digital media and services, analytics, consulting, content, commerce and adding new clients including Parle, Fiat, Ola, GSK, KrafHeinz, Lenovo, Motorola, Nykaa amongst others.

  • Anchor Panasonic promotes switches range in latest TVC

    Anchor Panasonic takes the ‘Naye India ke badhte load ke liye’ proposition further in their third campaign for their wiring devices (switches) with a quirky take on the selfie-obsessed social media generation. The campaign has been conceptualised and created by Leo Burnett India.

  • Spotify turns the spotlight on Diwali via latest ad films

    Spotify has launched a series of ads that have been conceptualised and created by Leo Burnett India. The campaign features three films that will be aired on TV, along with amplification across priority digital platforms.

We wanted our playlists and campaign to be as fresh and fun as what this festive season brings.   • Leo Burnett wins PharmEasy mandate

    Leo Burnett has won the creative mandate for PharmEasy, one of India’s leading healthcare aggregators. Leo Burnett will handle the 360 degree communications for the brand and the account will be headed by the Mumbai team.

  • Airtel adds Leo Burnett to its roster of agencies

    Airtel has added Leo Burnett to the roaster of agencies. Leo Burnett will handle a host of B2B and B2C services across the businesses, including the BTL work and circle marketing campaigns. The mandate was awarded after a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by the Leo Burnett Delhi office.

  • Spotify announces its first national ad campaign in India

    Following all the fun banter around its launch campaign, ‘There’s A Playlist For That’, Spotify is now live with its first TV-led marketing campaign in the country.  Actors Anil Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar have been roped in to feature as key protagonists in the ad films and stills; the campaign also includes the use of other channels, including digital and OOH.

    Conceptualised and developed by Leo Burnett Orchard, the campaign emphasises on what is most important to fans – the sheer pleasure of watching cricket at their preferred location.
