  • Partha Sinha, Suresh Narayanan & Suparna Mitra on Effies Global jury

    Three industry seniors from India will be part of the Effies Gloabl Grand Jury to determine the winners. Namely: Partha Sinha, President, The Times of India Group, Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & MD, Nestle India and Suparna Mitra, CEO, Watches & Wearables Division, Titan Company Ltd.

     

    Global Grand Judges will review the grand contenders selected to move forward in the competition to determine the Global Grand Effie Winners. The Global Grand Effie winners will then move on to compete for the Iridium Effie, the single most effective marketing effort worldwide. The grand jury will take place in September, 2023 in Singapore.

    Five other industry seniors from India have been selected to be part of the Round One judging Neha Ahuja, Director, Head of Marketing, Spotify India, Mitrajit Bhattacharya, Founder & President, The Horologists, Ruchika Gupta, Marketing Director, Beam Suntory India, Sujit Ganguli, Chief Marketing Officer, ICICI Bank and Neil George, General Manager & Managing Director, Abbott Nutrition India.

     

  • Nestle Milkybar presents a new campaign

    Nestle Milkybar unveils a new campaign. It showcases the eternal bond between mother and child and promotes the concept of fun, imaginative learnings. The campaign is created by Wunderman Thompson with the tagline ‘Imagine karo, kuch naya seekho’.

     

    Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Rupali Rattan, Head – Confectionery Business, Nestlé India said: “We wanted to build on the world that Milkybar has created – one of imagination, learning and curiosity. We wanted to focus on this strong mother child bond and how she can subtly nudge the child to unlock learning by the power of their own imagination.”

     

    Added Joy Chauhan, Chief Client Officer – Wunderman Thompson South Asia & Managing Partner, Wunderman Thompson Delhi: “With the new Milkybar thematic, we aim to build brand relevance with mothers and children with the message ‘Imagine karo, kuch naya seekho’. It leverages the concept of learning new things while they engage in imaginative play everyday. The commercial is an entertaining reminder that Milkybar believes that a kid’s imagination must be nurtured and MILKYBAR is the best way to do it.”

     

  • Maggi connects with rural India in new campaign

    Maggi in its latest campaign celebrates the consumers who make Maggie noodles an iconic brand. It has cast real consumers from UP and Bihar in its campaign titled “Khao to Maggi Noodles Khao”.

     

    The campaign will be rolled out across print, out-of-home and social media.

  • IAA IndIAA Awards to salute 75 years of Independence

    The IAA India Chapter will conduct its annual IndIAA Awards in Mumbai on August 23.

  • No KitKat break. Zenith retains massive Nestle media biz

    There are some who would’ve hoped that Nestlé  India would practise what the adline of its bestselling brand Kit Kat preaches: ‘Life Hai. Kit Kat break banta hai’. But no such break in its Media AOR relationship. The Publicis Groupe-owned media agency Zenith India has been retained as Nestle’s agency of record. The business, notes a communique, was won in a highly competitive multi-agency pitch which began in April this year.

     

    Zenith has been handling Nestlé’s media planning and buying business, across all segments since all of 17 years. It was appointed as the packaged goods company’s AoR back in 2005. The mandate includes the full range of duties – that’s offline media, online media, commerce, SEO and analytics.

  • Wunderman Thompson creates gamified ads for Nestle Munch

    Nestle Munch has tied up with four teams this cricket season to create an engaging immersive experience for the Nestle Munch brand. The campaign crafted by Wunderman Thompson India is an experiential, immersive, gaming experience for cricket fans that dials up the brand franchise through use of technology. The entire approach is gamified to build a non TVC tech first approach that is triggered via a scan of specially designed cricket team Nestle Munch packs.

     

    Talking about the campaign, Rupali Rattan, Head – Confectionery Business, Nestlé India, said: “We are really thrilled about how we are leveraging technology to bring alive this exciting partnership between Munch and the loved sport of Cricket.   • Nestle collaborates with Reliance Jio for Face of Hope

    Nestle India has launched the Face of Hope initiative with a focus on masking up. As a part of this initiative, the packaging of iconic Nestle India products will be masked-up. The new packaging will constantly remind people about the importance of following basic practices like masking and encourage their loved ones to do the same for a safe and better tomorrow. Under this initiative, Nestle India will aim to reach and encourage over 250 million people via its packs and the digital campaign, and it has collaborated with Reliance Jio to drive further awareness.

     

    Commenting on the initiative, Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, Nestle India, said: “At Nestlé India we are committed to playing an active role in India’s fight against Covid-19 and understand the importance of following COVID safety protocols to ensure safety for all. We urge people to ‘Mask-Up’ and join forces with their favorite brands and become the Face of Hope together.”

  • Nestle Milkmaid celebrates Onam

    Nestlé Milkmaid has has taken the onus of making Onam sweeter with #SpreadSweetness initiative. To spread the word for this festive cheer, the brand has rolled out a 30-second ad film with the cast of popular television series “Vanambaadi”.

     

    Commenting on the initiative, Vineet Singh, Director – Dairy, Nestlé India, said: “This year when social distancing is impacting the way we are celebrating Onam, Nestlé India has rolled out #SpreadSweetness – an initiative that emphasises how everyone can celebrate Onam just as memorably – with a different but equally sweet approach with Milkmaid.”

     

    As a mark of celebration, Nestle has also launched a Malayalam website www.milkmaid.in/ml featuring 50 recipes that can be easily made with ingredients available at home and can be relished with family and friends.

     

     

  • New KitKat campaign stars Ayushmann Khurrana

    Nestle’s KitKat chocolates has unveiled a new brand campaign titled ‘Life Hai, KitKat break banta hai’.

     

    Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Nikhil Chand, Director – Foods and Confectionery, Nestlé India said, “Over the last 25 years, KitKat, with its positioning of ‘Have a Break, Have a KitKat ‘ has made millions of Indian consumers have enjoyable breaks with delicious, crispy KitKat fingers. Our new campaign ‘Life Hai, KitKat break banta hai’ celebrates the resilience and adaptability the Indian youth have been displaying. The campaign highlights how, when at times, ‘the new normal’ may get ambiguous and stressful for the youth, all it takes is a meaningful pause with the deliciousness of a KitKat break to gain a fresh perspective on situations that they may be faced with. The film encourages the youth to take a short break and come back with a smile and renewed positivity to effectively deal with the unsaid conflict the new normal brings to their lives.”

     

     

  • Maggi’s new campaign on Indian masalas
