Lowe Lintas is an agency with a large portfolio of clients. When Virat and I took over the reins of the Group, putting the building blocks in place was our top priority. To deliver a powerful creative product, you not only need great creative leaders but also strong people under them to give shape to those great ideas. I see this quality in every RCO who can ably support Prateek and Sagar in their creative pursuits.”

  • ZEEL encourages India to opt for an EVM instead of a remote

    By A Correspondent

To encourage and mobilize viewers to cast their vote this election, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) has announced the launch of its campaign called ‘Grown Ups Go Vote’. Conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, the campaign kicked off across the network prior to election week with child stars from the network appealing to the adults to fulfil their responsibility and do the grown-up thing by voting in the upcoming Indian General Elections 2019.

Said Prathyusha Agarwal, CMO, ZEEL: “As a responsible national television network, it is our duty to encourage every Indian citizen we reach to vote. #GrownUpsGoVote is a campaign to transform voting from a chore to a celebration of civic engagement. It calls out to all adult citizens to do the grown-up thing and fulfil their responsibility to the nation’s future. Pausing our content is our way of encouraging people to move out of their homes and march to the polling booths. It’s a move away from our regular messaging where we ask people to watch our shows. As part of this campaign, our artists are appealing to the audience to go vote rather than sitting and watching them.”

Talking about the initiative, Sagar Kapoor, CCO, Lowe Lintas added: “It’s the era of ‘doing’ and not just ‘saying’. Zee, as a testimony to their commitment to voting, has done just that. The roadblock is a bold move to remind people of their fundamental duty.”

  • Lowe Lintas Bangalore to handle creative mandate of Medlife.com

    By A Correspondent

Following a multi-agency pitch, online pharmacy Medlife.com has brought Lowe Lintas on board as its creative agency.

Said Meera Iyer, CMO, Medlife.com:”Having worked with Lowe Lintas in the past, I know how they have created memorable brand campaigns for Unilever. But you need a slightly different approach for e-commerce retail brands, and of the agencies in Bengaluru, I felt Lowe Lintas would deliver best, as they understand both the online place as well as the new digitally-inclined audiences that drive growth. Maintaining Medlife’s leadership position and growing the online share of the Healthcare pie is critical to growth ambitions this year. We will look to Lowe Lintas to deliver a fantastic creative campaign that helps us achieve both.”

  • FreeCharge launches new digital campaign – ‘Sirf App Nahin, Appreciation’

    By A Correspondent

FreeCharge has launched its new digital campaign ‘Sirf App Nahin, Appreciation’. The campaign, conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, has been crafted to celebrate even the little efforts that we make every day to address our basic necessities, which otherwise go unnoticed.

Commenting on the launch of the digital campaign, Sangram Singh, CEO, Freecharge said: “We are continuously focusing on innovative storytelling to build deeper connect with our consumers. The campaign has been weaved around an insight from the real-life situations of young professionals, who are constantly looking at validation both personally and professionally. Freecharge as a facilitator of easy and seamless payments appreciates the effort a customer makes, recognizing that everyone deserves to feel the work they are doing however mundane it may seem, is contributing to something worthwhile.”

Added Amar Singh, Regional Creative Officer, Lowe Lintas: “The idea was to talk to people who’ve spent enough time at work to realize that the appreciation they were expecting as a natural response to their efforts, is a rare bird to spot. Conceived by Rajat Dawar and Abhishek Dey, the creative device of Omkar playing a melancholic melody to depict the protagonist’s dispirited state of mind, gives way to joy when FreeCharge arrives with rewards for even the small stuff. And in so doing, builds an association for the brand with the much-valued feeling of being appreciated.”

Said Jayant Kapre, Business Head – Adjacent & New Business, Britannia Industries: “In line with Britannia’s vision of being a Total Foods Company, it was a natural move for Britannia to make an entry into this category. We looked at the tremendous growth of the snacking category over the past half-decade. Our approach will be not just to create an innovative portfolio of products, but one that is represented by a memorable brand persona. We look forward to working with Lowe Lintas in gaining a meaningful entry into this competitive category.”

Added Hari Krishnan, President, Lowe Lintas: “We are Britannia’s lead creative partner and to be chosen for a new category is a vindication of our strengths in consumer understanding, strategy and our creative firepower. Snacking is a category where consumer demand is triggered by two types of hunger – Mouth Hunger & Stomach Hunger. Most of the packaged snacks fall into the Mouth Hunger category and is generally an addictive and/or mindless activity. Based on this insight, we have worked with the Britannia team on the strategy, brand name and communication and that’s how the brand name Timepass was frozen. We look forward to developing some exciting and Timepass work.”
