  • Kapil Sharma and team promote Navratna Oil in new campaign

    Navratna Oil has joined hands with Kapil Sharma for its new campaign this summer.

    Conceptualised by Wondrlab, the series involves Kapil offering a solution in his signature style as Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda and Gaurav Gera deal with problems caused by everyday chaos.

    Talking about the films, Kaushik Vedula, AVP – Marketing, of Emami Ltd. said: “This year we wanted to break the mould. As a market leader in this segment, we have always had brave campaigns that redefine benchmarks. With the growing market, and brands finding new ways to be relevant, we decided to take the plunge into the wild. For a mass brand like Navratna, taking a step towards branded content opens up new avenues to reach and connect with our target audience.   • Wondrlab appoints Ritika Malhotra as Head of Digital

    Wondrlab has appointed Ritika Malhotra as Head of Digital, further strengthening its leadership team. Malhotra’s last stint was at FCB Kinnect as VP – West, where she was responsible for the P&L for their largest region and leading solutioning for the brands managed from the region.

    PayZapp by HDFC Bank joins the cricket fever with its new ad featuring RCB players, created by Wondrlab.

    Wondrlab, the independent digital marketing services network, has announced the acquisition of WebTalk, a B2C digital marketing agency. This strategic milestone marks Wondrlab’s fifth acquisition and its first international venture since its inception in 2020. The company has also announced the appointment of Jarek Ziebinski as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of its European Hub in Poland.

    Founded in 2010, WebTalk, led by Michal Dunin, is a results-driven B2C digital marketing agency known for delivering outstanding outcomes in the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region

    On the acquisition and Jarek’s appointment, Saurabh Varma, Founder & CEO, Wondrlab Network, said: “Historically, we have witnessed global companies acquiring Indian companies.   • Ranbir, Rohit Shetty in Tata AIG campaign

    Tata AIG, the general insurance providers, released its latest campaign titled ‘Expect the Expected’ featuring  Ranbir Kapoor and Rohit Shetty, directed by Razneesh Ghai, AKA Razy. It’s a full funnel campaign, created and executed by Wondrlab.

It includes two brand films, one featuring Alia grooving in her own space, while the other showcases her fresh style of greeting, characterized by eccentric energy.

  • Bhavesh Kosambia joins Wondrlab as Content Lead

    Wondrlab has appointed Bhavesh Kosambia as Content Lead. As a part of strengthening its creative leadership team, Kosambia will report to CCO Amit Akali and lead a set of key accounts and talent.

     

    Kosambia was last with Grey as Group Creative Director. Said Akali on the appointment: “I’ve been lucky to work with Bhavesh in the past. Both, as a creative person and as a film maker. He’s done some of our best work as a director and I’ve seen him do his magic as a creative team lead. He’s one of those rare people that is constantly learning and evolving. And I’m sure he’ll quickly get down to doing cutting-edge, platform first, tech-led work. We are also clear that inhouse talent is going to get all possible opportunities, especially with our in-house production set up – Bhavesh has already directed a few films for us, including the recent ‘Karva Chauth’ film for Bharat Matrimony. Most importantly, he’s someone our clients can depend upon as a partner and support system to build their brands.”

    Wondrlab has acquired Neon, a performance marketing agency. The Neon acquisition follows the WYP acquisition and the Opportune acquisition.

     

    According to a communique, Neon uses data, creativity, and deep platform understanding to successfully deliver bottom-of-the-funnel campaigns. Since its inception, the agency has helped more than 100 brands grow, by delivering on conversions and leads.

    Rebel Foods, the online restaurant company, has unveiled a new campaign for its half-n-half pizza offering by its flagship brand Oven Story Pizza. Conceptualised by Amit Akali’s What’s Your Problem, now a Wondrlab company, the new campaign addresses “common pizza problems”.

     

    Said Akali, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Wondrlab: “There is a dictatorship in the pizza category with every big player giving out the same offerings. For an ardent foodie like myself, it was high time that someone came along and put an end to this dictatorship. Oven Story does just that with its unique half and half pizzas. The film is fun, quirky and drives home the message well. More importantly, they are unexpected. And today, if you catch attention, that’s half the battle won for a brand. You can look forward to a few more episodes with our dictator.”

  • Deepika Padukone to be the face for femtech brand Nua

    Nua, femtech startup, has launched a campaign with Deepika Padukone as the face of their new menstrual wellness range. The campaign #GoWithYourFlow has been designed by Wondrlab.

     

    Speaking on the new step taken by Nua, Amit, Chief Creative Officer, of Wondrlab, said: “When we sat with the strategy and creative teams, we realised the reality of periods is far different from its advertising. We decided to create a brand story based in reality – having real conversations and solving real period problems. Deepika was of course the perfect ambassador. She is known for her open conversations on topics that others are not comfortable speaking on – like periods. So, we had her take on cliches propagated by the category and then help solve real problems through the product in her own witty, charming way, that stands out from anything done in the category. With Wondrlab’s unique approach, we’ve created content for both top of the funnel and the bottom of the funnel through performance videos.”
