  • Kyoorius Creative Awards announces jury for Media category

    The 5th edition of the Kyoorius Creative Awards has announced it jury for Media. The award show honouring creative and innovative work across advertising, digital, and media is inviting entries until the extended deadline of 2nd May.

  • Kyoorius Awards names its jury for fifth edition

    The Kyoorius Creative Awards is back in its fifth edition and entries will be open from March 21 to April 23, 2018 across 20 main categories and 280 sub-categories. The Kyoorius Creative Awards night will be held on June 1, 2018 in Mumbai. The entries will be judged by four juries; two for advertising and one each for digital and media from 14th May – 16th May in Mumbai.

     

    The jury chairpersons are as follows:

  • Kyoorius announces partnership with The One Club

    Kyoorius Group announced it has formed a partnership with The One Club for Creativity, a leading global non-profit organisation behind The One Show, ADC Annual Awards and other programming, to serve as the club’s official representative in India. It may be recalled that Kyoorius had tied up with D&AD,  a relationship it phased out from last year.

     

    Under the agreement, The One Club will also contribute to the composition of the jury for future editions of Kyoorius Creative Awards, as well as provide the club’s judging process and proprietary back-end voting technology platform.

     

    In this new partnership, Kyoorius will work closely with agencies, media and the creative community in India to support and promote the club’s awards programmes including The One Show, ADC Annual Awards, Creative Week, Young Guns, Young Ones student awards, One Screen Short Film Festival, Creative Hall of Fame and others.

     

    In addition to these awards and recognition initiatives, The One Club for Creativity also gives back to the creative community through nearly 20 programmes throughout the year representing its four pillars: Education, Inclusion & Diversity, Professional Development and Gender Equality.  Programming includes Creative Boot Camps and Portfolio Nights for young creatives, Creative Leaders Retreats for senior creatives, Executive Creative Summits for agency founders/CCO/managing partners and more. Kyoorius will work with agencies throughout India to sponsor local versions of these and other One Club programming starting in 2018.

  • Kyoorius Designyatra is back in Goa

     

     

    Kyoorius Designyatra will return to Goa with its 12th edition this year, with the theme: “Optimism”. The event will be held over a period of three days – October 12 to October 14, 2017 (note: the Ad Club’s Envies Awards are scheduled for October 13 in Mumbai).

  • Kyoorius unveils jury for 2017 Design Awards

    Kyoorius has announced its jury for the fifth edition of the Kyoorius Design Awards. The jury sessions will take place on September 15 and 16, 2017 at the Ecole Intuit Lab in Mumbai. All design work commercially released between January 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017 are eligible to be entered.

     

    The jury will be chaired by award winning graphic designer and founding creative partner at Pearlfisher (London), Karen Welman along with some of the leading names in the advertising and design space: Leanne Kitchen, Designer – Johnson Banks; Darshan Gandhi, Head Design – Godrej Consumer Products Limited; Scott Lambert, Design Director – The Partners | Founder – The Typefaces; Ambrish Arora, Founding Principal – Studio Lotus; Jay Dutta, SVP of UX Design – MMYT | Advisor – SAIF Partners; Neha Tulsia, Founder & Creative Director – NH1 Design.

  • Ogilvy maxes Kyoorius Creative Awards yet again

    The Kyoorius Creative Awards 2017 were presented in Mumbai on Saturday in the fourth edition of the event. A total of five black elephants and 96 blue elephants were awarded across Advertising, Digital and Media categories in an event that was presented with style, as the awards night has been over all its four editions.

     

    While Ogivly won the maxium number of blue elephants, the five black elephants winners were:

    1.Ogilvy & Mather for Savlon Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks

    2. Early Man Films Pvt. Ltd. for The Hindu

    3. Kinetic Worldwide for Mukhota – The life saving mask

    4. FCB Interface for World’s 1st Streets Named after Street Kids

    A total of 1823 entries were received from 304 entrants. The total number of in-book winners were 307, with a total of 88 blue elephants awarded and five black elephants. There were eight Colors awards presented. The winner of the Times of India Power of Print award was JWT with the runners-up being FCB Interface and Havas Worldwide.

     

     

  • Kyoorius announces digital jury

    As the fourth edition of the Kyoorius Creative Awards draws closer, the jury panel for the digital category has been made public. The panel will be led by Tim Malbon (Founding Partner, Made by Many) and comprises: Eric Cruz (Executive Creative Director, AKQA Shanghai), Lyndon Hale (Executive Creative Director, DigitasLBi APAC), Preethi Mariappan (VP Executive Creative Director, Emerging Experiences EMEA, Sapient Razorfish), George Kovoor (Senior Creative Director, OgilvyOne Worldwide), RoopakSaluja (Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The 120 Media Collective and Sooperfly) and PrashanthChallapalli (Chief Integration Officer, Leo Burnett South Asia).

    The Kyoorius Creative Awards has opened doors for its fourth edition with awards on offer across 17 main categories and 156 sub-categories. The awards is scheduled to happen on Friday, June 2 in Mumbai. The backend of the awards and the judging process is being done by D&AD.

     

    Entries for these awards close on April 19 with April 26 being the last day for physical submission of the entries.

  • Kahani Designworks and Ek Type win Black Elephant at Kyoorius Design Awards

    Two Black Elephants and 22 Blue Elephants were awarded for outstanding work in design and visual communication at the Kyoorius Design Awards on Saturday in Jaipur. Mumbai-based Kahani Designworks and Ek Type were the Black Elephant winners for their campaigns for The State of Architecture and Baloo respectively. Kyoorius also awarded some of the future creative stars with the Kyoorius Young Blood Awards encourages young Indian talent in the visual communication space.

     

    Black Elephants are reserved for the work that is the best amongst the best, work that involves high risk and high dedication and that has a long time impact on the industry. Kyoorius received a total of 468 entries this year for the Kyoorius Design Awards out of which 43 were the In-Book winners.

     

    The Kyoorius Young Blood Awards received a total of 353 entries with 14 Red Elephants being rewarded and 27 In-Book winners.

     

    The awards were a culmination of the three-day event on creativity and design that sparked fresh and new ideas among the attendees.  The final day of Kyoorius Designyatra 2016 had an incredible speaker line-up that included Jon Marshall, Co-Founder & Creative Director, MAP, Singgih Kartono, Founder & Designer, Magno Design, Alex Daly, Founder, Vann Alexandra, Ronald van Schaik, Founder, Kaliber Interactive, Ayappa KM, Co-Founder, Early Man Film, Tap Kruavanichkit, Creative Director, Farmgroup, Ruchita Madhok, Principal, Kahani Designworks, Sameer Kulavoor, Founder, Bombay Duck Design and Sarang Kulkarni, Founder WhiteCrow. The speaker sessions ended with an interactive discussion with the legendary Michael Wolff, Founder, Michael Wolff & Co.

  • Kyoorius Designyatra 2016 moves to Jaipur

    The eleventh edition of premier design conference Kyoorius Designyatra moves to Jaipur this year, with the theme: “Why am I here?” The event will be held at the Pink City’s Fairmont Hotel and spread over a period of three days – September 29 to October 1. The theme will explore facets of creativity – whether we are chasing our passions or just doing mundane work; be it in designing, writing, shooting or exploring multiple avenues for creativity.

     

    This year, over 1200 delegates are expected to be present over the three days participating in various workshops, discussion sessions and portfolio reviews  The event will culminate with the presentation of the D&AD-backed Kyoorius Design Awards.
