  • Senior management at Havas go more senior

     

     

    Havas Group India has announced key elevations in its senior management team for Havas Media and Havas Creative.

     

    Uday Mohan, Managing Partner North & West, Havas Media will now be President, North & West. R Venkatasubramanian, National Head Buying, Havas Media will be President & National Head Investments. And Manas Lahiri, Managing Partner – North, Havas Creative has been elevated to President, North.

     

    Mohan and Venkat will continue to report to Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Group India and Lahiri will report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India.

  • Havas Media to deliver for Domino’s Pizza

    Havas Media has bagged the integrated media duties for Domino’s Pizza operated by Jubilant FoodWorks Limited. The account has been assigned after multi-agency pitches and participation from the leading networks. The mandate won by Havas Media includes both offline and digital media duties.

  • Mohit Joshi is now CEO, Havas Media Group

    We thought he was CEO of Havas Media already, but now it’s formal and official. Havas Group India has announced the elevation of Mohit Joshi to Chief Executive Officer of Havas Media Group with immediate effect. Prior to this, Joshi was Managing Director of Havas Media Group. He will continue to report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India.

     

    Joshi has spent over 13 years at Havas Media and has 20+ experience in the media. He is also in the mancom of AAAI and IAMAI and is actively involved in other industry bodies as well.

  • Anupriya Acharya takes charge as AAAI President

    Anupriya Acharya, CEO – South Asia, Publicis Groupe was elected President of Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) for the year 2020-21 at its Annual General Body Meeting held in Mumbai on Monday. Ashish Bhasin, President of Advertising Agencies Association of India( AAAI), handed over charge to Acharya. Prasanth Kumar, CEO – South Asia, GroupM was unanimously elected Vice-President of the Association.

  • MyGate allows Havas Media entry with media mandate

    Havas Media has bagged the media duties for MyGate, the community management solution, whose comprehensive offering comprises security, ERP and a host of other features for gated communities. Simply put the value added software for entry management solution that many housing complexes have embraced. The mandate includes over-the-top (OTT) media services and all offline media duties. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. According to a Havas communique, the account size is estimated to be upwards of Rs 30 crore and will be handled out of the agency’s Bengaluru office led by Saurabh Jain, EVP – South, Havas Media.

  • Satyajit Sen heads to Indonesia as Havas Media CEO

    The next time you are on the beaches of Bali, don’t be surprised if you run into good ol’ media boss from India, Satyajit Sen. Havas Group Indonesia has announced his appointment as CEO of Havas Media CEO.  Sen takes charge of a position left vacant after the exit of Anwesh Bose in November last year. His mandate is to accelerate Havas Media Indonesia’s journey of transformation and exponential growth with a focus on collaboration, new business and building and leading a team. He will report to Vishnu Mohan, Chairman & CEO Havas Group, SEA, India and North Asia. Sen’s appointment is effective immediately and he is based in Jakarta.

     

    Sen joins Havas Indonesia from Samsung India where he led the media management function from 2014. Prior to the South Korean giant, Sen was CEO of Zenith Optimedia in India.

     

    Commenting on the appointment, Mohan said: “Satyajit’s proven expertise in delivering value across the spectrum of media services encompassing digital, content and data coupled with extremely strong leadership skills will build on what we have already achieved in Indonesia, which has a strong portfolio of media clients like Indofood, Grab, and Godrej and take Havas Indonesia forward in its next phase of growth and expansion. His experience encompassing both brand and agency will be huge advantage in a critical market like Indonesia. I am delighted to welcome Satyajit to the Havas family and I am confident that he will propel Havas Indonesia in its next phase of evolution.”

  • Havas Media bags digital duties of Piramal consumer products division

    Havas Media has bagged the digital duties of Piramal Enterprises Limited’s (PEL) Consumer Products Division. The pitch was jointly won along with Havas Group’s healthcare specialists, Havas Life Sorento.

     

    The mandate includes social media, content, ORM, SEO and website duties for PEL’s Consumer Products Division comprising of 22 brands across categories such as skin care, vitamins and nutrition, antacids, analgesics, gastro-intestinal and baby-care. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Mumbai office.

  • Exclusive: ‘Hava’ of Change blowing @ Havas. Anita Nayyar moves out of day-to-day ops in Havas Media India

    We’ve been hearing these rumours for a few months now. But now it’s confirmed.

    Anita Nayyar, longstanding CEO of Havas Media India and Southeast Asia, has now moved out of her day-to-day operational role at Havas Media to a larger group-level assignment with Vivendi, the holding company of Havas, with reporting directly (and only) to Vishnu Mohan, Chairman & CEO, Havas India & South East Asia. Nayyar’s mandate includes working on inorganic growth, identifying new business opportunities and new revenue streams, and facilitate partnership.

    Havas Media meanwhile is now being helmed by Managing Director Mohit Joshi who reports to Havas Group India CEO Rana Barua. According to information received by MxMIndia, things have changed since around a fortnight via communication sent out to all internal stakeholders by Mohan.

    Nayyar joined Havas in 2007 as CEO of Havas Media India and save a few months when she moved to Bennett Coleman and Company Ltd (BCCL) as Head of Customer Strategy and joined back seven months later, she has been spearheading Havas Media. Joshi has also been working with the group since 2007.

In her new role, she will be responsible for driving relationships across advertising/media agencies pan India with a focus on revenue growth for the app. She will be based out of Delhi and will report to Viraj Jit Singh – Sr. VP & Head Revenue, MX Player, notes a communique.

     

    In her last assignment, Tarannum was with Havas Media as Executive Vice President and handled clients like Hyundai, Emirates, Voltas, Kohler among others.  She started her career with McCann Erickson in the year 2000 and worked on the Nestle and L’Oreal businesses. She was also associated with Madison, Vivaki Exchange, Group M and Reliance Big FM in the past.
