  • Havas Media bags digital duties of Piramal consumer products division

    Havas Media has bagged the digital duties of Piramal Enterprises Limited’s (PEL) Consumer Products Division. The pitch was jointly won along with Havas Group’s healthcare specialists, Havas Life Sorento.

     

    The mandate includes social media, content, ORM, SEO and website duties for PEL’s Consumer Products Division comprising of 22 brands across categories such as skin care, vitamins and nutrition, antacids, analgesics, gastro-intestinal and baby-care. The account will be handled out of the agency’s Mumbai office.

    Havas Media India has appointed R Venkatasubramanian as National Head of Investments. He joins Havas from Initiative Media where he was serving as Senior Vice President.

     

    In his new role, Venkatasubramanian will be based out of Gurugram and will be responsible for driving media investments, partnerships and strategic thinking for all Havas Media clients across markets.

  • Havas Media wins digital media mandate for Sri Lanka Tourism

    Following a multi-agency pitch, Havas Media India partnering with their local partner in Sri Lanka, Agxa Pvt Ltd., won the digital media mandate of Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB).

     

    The account size is estimated to be approximately Rs 30 crore and will be handled out of the agency’s Gurgaon office led by Uday Mohan, Managing Partner – North and East India. The mandate includes social media, mobile and website.

     

    The SLTPB intends to launch a global destination marketing campaign for Sri Lanka over a period of three years. The campaign will be an integrated brand campaign focused on promoting awareness of tourism products in Sri Lanka, increasing the number of tourist arrivals, and targeting more high-value tourists to achieve the targets laid out for the sector.

The account size is estimated to be upwards of INR 50 crore and will be handled out of the Bengaluru office led by Saurabh Jain, Vice President – South, Havas Media India.

  • Havas Media ties up with Kerala’s IMC Advertising

    Havas Media Group, India has entered into a strategic partnership with IMC Advertising, a Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala-based advertising agency to strengthen its footprint in the southern market of India.

     

    Established in 2002, IMC is led by AV Bhanuprakash, Managing Director, Ummer Kutty CTP, Executive Director and Chairman M P Ahammed. IMC’s current client base includesMalabar Gold & Diamonds, Malabar Developers, Eham Digital, Malabar Watches, Neerayi Food Court and Cosmos Sports.

    Havas Media India has successfully retained Kohler’s integrated media business following a multi-agency pitch. The agency has also been entrusted with some of its PR duties. The account will continue to be handled out of Gurgaon office.

  • Havas unites creative and media. Vishnu Mohan to head India & SE Asia. Anita Nayyar & Nirmalya Sen roles unchanged

    Effective immediately Havas Creative Group and Havas Media Group will be a combined unit, as separate business units but under one P&L.

     

    The process of the unification has been in the works for long, but now it impacts the APAC region.

     

    How does it impact India? Well the veteran Vishnu Mohan will now take charge of both media and creative for India and the rest of South East Asia. The India heads – Anita Nayyar and Nirmalya Sen – will continue in their respective roles. In fact Nayyar would report to Mohan even earlier, only Sen’s reporting changes from Juan Rocamora to Vishnu Mohan.

  • Havas Media unveils new office in Punjab

Havas Media, India has expanded its operations to Punjab with the opening of a new office in Ludhiana. The agency announced the official launch of its office, increasing the agency’s national presence in seven cities and across 130 markets globally.

     

    The expansion will enable international and local clients from the Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and J&K markets .
