Q. When the mood is down, one only finds a hazy reflection of oneself in the Mirror… there appears to be no light at the end of the road. In these circumstances, how does one even celebrate the weekend?
A. When the celebration of life is dependent on external forces, your observations are only natural. I am not suggesting in any way that emotional nadir could be glossed over. The sufferer knows where it pinches. No amount of philosophy can pacify the ruptured emotion. But what can’t be cured has to be endured. So, the narrative to the mind should be: now that the setback has happened, how do I move forward. A calm mind would realise that being alive is a blessing of God. May be He has got a better plan for me. With a positive mind, one would attract positive forces and new roads would emerge. Praying relentlessly can be a great healer and solution-driver.
