Q. I received a meme the other day which when translated to English reads: Those who apply butter also have a knife in their hands. True? Your view?

A. I love the the meme – both literally (elementary though) and metaphorically, albeit one can have a Shakespearean twist by some strech of imagination. Literally, it’s a fact (though you can use spoon also as a makeshift substitute ). But I can visualise your disappointment with my answer as you must be expecting a Hitchcockian twist. So, when you get empirical evidences of such incidents in one’s life, it can be proved to be true. Even I have experienced such evidences in my life. Realising the real meaning of the meme could make one alert and they help remember such characters.
