  • YuppTV bags broadcast rights T20 WC

    YuppTV, an over-the-top (OTT) South Asian content provider, has acquired the broadcast rights for the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 that’s on till November 13, 2022.

     

    YuppTV bagged the exclusive broadcast rights for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 2022 for 75 countries, including Continental Europe, Malaysia (Non-exclusive), Japan, China, Hong Kong (Non-exclusive), Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Southeast Asia (Except Singapore). Tournament will be telecasted LIVE over YuppTV’s platform.

  • YuppTV join forces with BSNL for a triple-play service partnership

  • YuppTV bags digital broadcast rights for IPL 2019 for Australia, SE Asia & the Continent

    YuppTV has acquired the digital broadcasting rights for Vivo IPL 2019 outside of India. YuppTV will bring alive the action to existing and new users in Australia, Continental Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and RoW including South and Central America and Central and South East Asia.

  • YuppTV launches Android-based hybrid STB

    YuppTV announced the launch of its end-end OTT platform for MSOs. As part of its end-to-end OTT solution, YuppTV will extend MSOs a comprehensive suite of OTT Orchestration platform along with an Android-based Hybrid Set Top Box that supports OTT as well as traditional DVB-C and IPTV.

  • Rajesh Iyer quits &TV, says ‘yes’ to YuppTV

    The windows of change are blowing in television-land. In perhaps one of the biggest hopovers from a television broadcaster to an OTT or Video on Demand broadcaster, Rajesh Iyer, Executive Vice President and Business Head, & TV at the Zee Enterterinment group will join YuppTV as Chief Operating Officer for APAC and Middle East. Next month.

     

    Iyer has over 16 years of experience leading functions and business with leading names in the broadcast media domain, including Zee, Viacom 18 and Star India. Iyer headed the hyperactive marketing team at Colors and was later invited to replicated the Colors magic by launching &TV, which he launched in 2015.

     

    As COO of YuppTV, Iyer’s responsibilities will include operations in APAC and the Middle East, along with leading the task of content acquisition and spearheading the growth and expansion of YuppTV Originals.

    Hathway has partnered with YuppTV to offer live TV and on-demand entertainment content to customers. Hathway will provide high-speed fibre broadband subscribers YuppTV subscription as part of the monthly plans.
