    Shamsuddin Jasani has announced he will be stepping down from the role of CEO at Wunderman Thompson South Asia.

     

    Over the past two years, adds a communique, Jasani has accelerated the transformation of the agency to a modern-day growth partner – delivering impactful solutions for clients across the entire customer journey. Under his leadership the agency won large competitive pitches including Skoda, Vivo, Indigo, Hafele, NPCI, Rupay, Manyavar and Cult Sports, across creative, MarTech and commerce.

     

    Jasani reflected on the past two years stating: “It has been an amazing and rewarding two years at Wunderman Thompson and I’m proud of what we have achieved. During my time, we have transformed the company into a partner that provides smart and impactful solutions to crucial business problems – all powered by creative, tech and commerce. As the business continues its evolution, I believe my job is done. I am looking forward to a new and exciting chapter in my life with an amazing opportunity. I thank everyone at Wunderman Thompson – the clients, our partners and specially our team.” Jasani continued.

    Wunderman Thompson South Asia has elevated Vijay Jacob to Managing Partner, East and South.  Prior to taking on his new role, Vijay was Senior Vice President & Managing Partner, Wunderman Thompson Kolkata.

    Nestle Milkybar unveils a new campaign. It showcases the eternal bond between mother and child and promotes the concept of fun, imaginative learnings. The campaign is created by Wunderman Thompson with the tagline ‘Imagine karo, kuch naya seekho’.

     

    Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Rupali Rattan, Head – Confectionery Business, Nestlé India said: “We wanted to build on the world that Milkybar has created – one of imagination, learning and curiosity. We wanted to focus on this strong mother child bond and how she can subtly nudge the child to unlock learning by the power of their own imagination.”

     

    Added Joy Chauhan, Chief Client Officer – Wunderman Thompson South Asia & Managing Partner, Wunderman Thompson Delhi: “With the new Milkybar thematic, we aim to build brand relevance with mothers and children with the message ‘Imagine karo, kuch naya seekho’.     Harsh Shah has been appointed as Chief Digital Officer at Wunderman Thompson South Asia. In his new role, he will be responsible for accelerating the digital transformation of the Wunderman Thompson Group, and working with all of its agencies across Creative, Communication, Tech, Health and Commerce to deliver an integrated solution to all clients across the Group.

     

    Based out of Mumbai, Shah will report directly to Shams Jasani, Chief Executive Officer, Wunderman Thompson South Asia.
