This Women’s History Month, Wieden+Kennedy Delhi has revealed a campaign for IndiGo with a series of zines that feature in a special edition of IndiGo’s in-flight catalogue. The campaign has been live at airports and on social media ahead of March 8, International Women’s Day.
“We’ve used insight from everyday situations that women find themselves in, and turned those into conversation-starters,” says Malavika Sharma, senior writer. “And the conversation we hope to generate will establish equality as a habit and an expectation.â€
Wieden+Kennedy Delhi has announced the appointment of Lubna Khan as the agency’s new Head of Strategy.
Lubna brings over 18 years of experience in strategy and innovation to her new role. She is also a clinically trained psychologist, and continues to explore new ways of using insight for behavioral change.

Khan has also coauthored a book on Strategic Communication for HIV/ AIDS, which still serves as the core reference for the Government of India.
Wieden+Kennedy Delhi has bagged the creative mandate for Dalmia Cement following a multi-agency pitch.
“Cement as a product isn’t something that people willingly attach adjectives such as interesting and exciting to. We want to change that. In Wieden+Kennedy we definitely see the ability and expertise to successfully partner with us in achieving that, and are extremely glad to have them on board with us on this new journey,†added B K Singh, Head Corporate Brands & Marketing, Dalmia Bharat.

The agency will work on the strategic planning and creative duties of the brand as a part of the mandate.
Wieden+Kennedy Delhi has announced an all-new leadership team. Long-time W+K Delhi creative Shuchi Thakur has been appointed Executive Creative Director for the agency. Partnering Thakur as ECD will be Molona Wati Longchar. Longchar is welcomed back into the W+K family after her latest role as a consultant with visual communications firm Design Stash. In addition, she helped set up Nebuzz.com – an online content portal celebrating the culture and creativity of the north-eastern states of India.
Commenting on her new role, Molona says, “It’s a great feeling to be coming back to W+K Delhi, and being a part of the vibrant and unique culture here. Shuchi and I have had a great working partnership in the past, and I could not be more thrilled about teaming up with her once again and leading the creative mandate together.â€
Joining Thakur and Longchar to complete the Delhi leadership team is Sidharth Loyal, who has been appointed as the Managing Director. Loyal is also returning to W+K Delhi after having worked in agencies across the Asia Pacific region including DDB and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Nike India launched its latest music track and film ‘Da Da Ding’, as a part of its new Just Do It campaign, created by the team at Wieden+Kennedy, Delhi.
In the music video titled “Da Da Ding,†actress DeepikaPadukone, Indian hockey player Rani Rampal, alongside other leading Indian athletes including footballer Jyoti Ann Burrett and cricketers Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandana and Shubhlakshmi Sharma urge India’s next generation to break conventions and define their own success by bringing sport into their lives.
Created in collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy Delhi, directed by French director François Rousselet and set to an ‘anthem’ by Gener8ion, featuring American rapper Gizzle, “Da Da Ding†charts the rise of female sport across a diverse range of passions, including basketball, football, running, training and cricket.
The sportswomen featured spend their days in different ways are in different professions. Yet their paths to respective success bear similar markings. Each learned the discipline and strengthened the confidence she attributes to her rise to early participation in sport, an anomaly in a country in which athletics has remained male dominated.
