Conceptualised by marketing consulting firm Spring Marketing Capital, the ad films asks cricket enthusiasts to make their teams on the app to compete directly with Sourav Ganguly.

  • Piramal Enterprises ropes in Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador

    Piramal Enterprises’ Consumer Products Division announced its association with Sourav Ganguly, President, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as the brand ambassador for Polycrol, its antacid brand.

    Senco Gold & Diamonds has rolled out a new brand campaign ‘Shine On’ featuring former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly who is also the company’s brand ambassador. In a TVC for Aham, a new range of men’s jewellery, Ganguly will be playing a role of his own life – how he outplays the rivals and silences the critics.

  • Tetley unveils new campaign featuring Sourav Ganguly

    Featuring the former captain of the Indian cricket team, Tata Global Beverages has introduced the all-new Tetley Super Greenwith its latest light-hearted ad film. The campaign highlights the super human expectations each of us face every day.With this campaign, Tetley Super Green introduces vitamin enhanced green teas for the first time in India.The Tetley Super Green range consists of Tetley Super Green Boost – a combination of lime and mint green tea with vitamin B6 to help reduce tiredness and fatigue and Tetley Super Green Immune – which is a combination of citrus and honey green tea with Vitamin C, to help support the immune system.

     

    After a series of ad campaigns, this new campaign from Tata Global Beverages highlights the product’s USP of being a super green tea in a creative manner. The film truly brings alive the positioning of Tetley Super Green as the superhero of green teas. It was backed by the insight that even real, everyday people, are constantly faced with super human expectations, and need a little extra from the products they consume to live up to them.

     

    The ad opens with a woman asking Ganguly’s wife why she needed Tetley Super Green. To which she replies that people still treat her husband like the ‘Prince of Kolkata’, while the camera pans to Sourav Ganguly. The film then continues to display a series of situations where Ganguly is still expected to ‘be the person he once was’. The film ends with Ganguly sipping Tetley Super Green while the voiceover reiterates that a person with super human expectations requires a super green tea.

  • Cycle Rhythm introduces Sourav Ganguly as brand ambassador

    Cycle Rhythm, from the house of Cycle Pure Agarbathies, has inducted former  India cricket captain and now administrator Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador for Bengal. Cycle Pure Agarbathies is the flagship brand of the Mysuru-based NR Group.

     

    The brand plans to launch a series of television commercials with Ganguly, to start a two-year association. The commercials also feature danseuse-actress Mamata Shankar, singer Rupankar and actress Monami. The television commercial will be supported by print, radio, outdoor advertising and events, making it a 360-degree campaign.

  • Sourav Ganguly to lead Pune Warriors in IPL5

    Pune Warriors India, the IPL franchise of Sahara India Pariwar, has announced that all-rounder and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly will lead the side of Pune Warriors India as Captain and Mentor in the fifth season of the IPL, to be played from 4th April, 2012 till 27th May, 2012.

     

    Pune Warriors India team in IPL 5 will don new turquoise blue and silver jerseys. Turquoise blue color stands for zeal, confidence and victory, the very attributes and motto of a Warrior.

     

    The Pune Warriors India’s bowling coach is Allan Donald while Praveen Amre is the batting coach. Paddy Upton is the mental conditioning and high performance coach of the team.
