  • Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) re-elects Sunil Kataria as the Chairman

    Sunil Kataria, Chief Executive Officer, India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Limited, was re-elected Chairman of the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA). Kataria has has led the ISA over the past four years..The newly elected Executive Council met on September 21, 2020.

     

    On his election for the fifth consecutive term as the Chairman of the ISA, Sunil said, “In our journey towards creating greater value proposition for the ISA in the industry, the focus will be to make this unique body future ready for the new normal that is emerging around us and to provide value added support to our members. With the digital advertising having ascended as second only to TV and growing even further, our endeavour this year would be take forward our efforts in the area of digital measurement .The ISA has plans ahead to work with BARC to create a Multimedia Measurement that can be implemented very soon. We heartily thank all fraternity organisations for their strong partnering and this will surely help us accomplish new milestones. I also acknowledge the continuing support by our members in all our endeavours.”

  • Godrej Professional on salons are now #hairforyou

    Godrej Professional, a brand with products in hair colour, care, styling and keratin from Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL), launched its #hairforyou campaign as an extension to the Suraksha Salon Programme, with the objective of helping the Indian salon industry get back on its feet and reinstate customer confidence to visit salons.

  • Goodknight launches ‘Rakshak Ki Rakhi’ for frontline heroes

    Goodknight, the mosquito repellent brand, took on an initiative to protect frontline heroes in the battle against Covid-19. Conceptualised by Digitas India, ‘Rakshak Ki Rakhi’ was a special rakhi made by kids with Goodknight Patches that offered active protection from mosquitoes.

     

    Commenting about the initiative, Mark Mcdonald, Executive Vice President and Head of Creative, Digitas India said:  “Our frontline heroes have been out there protecting us day in and day out. When we realized the added risks the monsoon poses to them, in the form of mosquito-borne diseases, we wanted to do our part to protect them. That was the genesis of the idea and the Rakhi – one of the most powerful symbols of protection – was the perfect way to do it. It’s a lovely initiative that’s true to brand GoodKnight’s ethos, and uses the product in a unique way. Needless to say, it’s extremely gratifying to play a small part in protecting the heroes who’re out there protecting us.”

As these warriors ensure people are protected and cared for, we thought of doing our bit by protecting them from mosquitoes. We reached out to doctors, policemen, and healthcare workers with a one-of-a-kind ‘Rakshak Ki Rakhi’ featuring Goodknight patches along with a special message extending our appreciation and gratitude.”

     

     

  • Godrej Protekt urges citizens to join #ProtektIndiaMovement

    Considering the severity of the Covid-19 outbreak, Godrej Protekt has embarked on an initiative called #ProtektIndiaMovement. It aims at building awareness amongst people by keeping them informed about the preventive measures to ensure protection against the coronavirus. The brand kickstarted this initiative with a digital anthem highlighting the importance of regular handwashing, featuring children as the messengers in order to create more awareness about hand hygiene.

     

    Conceptualised by Creativeland Asia, Godrej Protekt’s digital anthem is developed with the understanding that although coronavirus is a pandemic that can potentially affect anyone, it can be prevented by simply washing hands at the right times.

  • Bipasha Chakrabarti appointed Communications Head at Facebook India

    Facebook announced that it has recruited a new communications head to lead its growing corporate communications and public relations mandate in India. Bipasha Chakrabarti will take on the role of Communications Director at Facebook India, and will be a part of the India leadership team, reporting to Ajit Mohan.

     

    Her last assignment was as Head of Corporate Communications at Cisco India and SAARC.  The announcement comes just a month after Facebook announced the hiring of Avinash Pant as the Marketing Director at Facebook India to drive the company’s consumer marketing efforts across the family of apps.

     

    Said Ajit Mohan, VP and MD of Facebook India: “Communications is a critical function for us as we continue to build Facebook’s story in India.   • Godrej Aer Pocket ensures happy bathrooms via digi film

    Godrej aer Pocket has unveiled a new digital campaign in which it builds on to the idea of happy bathrooms. This campaign emphasises how during monsoons the moist and damp smell in the bathrooms can lead to an unpleasant experience in the morning.

     

    Conceptualised by Creativeland Asia, the film takes a fun and quirky route to decipher the morning struggle that one goes through if the bathroom is not smelling fresh and fragrant.

     

    On the new digital film, Sunil Kataria, CEO  India and SAARC, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, said: “It takes a lot of effort to keep homes smell fresh all the time especially during monsoons.
