  • Havas Media wins Hamdard mandate

    Havas Media India has won the offline media mandate for Hamdard Laboratories’ food division, that includes the iconic beverage brand RoohAfza and all its extensions, Hamdard honey, Hamdard saffron, oils, healthy teas, snacks, dairy products, and other value added innovative food products.

     

    The account will be handled out of the agency’s Gurugram office, led by Uday Mohan, President – North & West India, Havas Media.

  • Havas Media announces key elevations for senior management

    Havas Media Group India has announced elevations and promotions with immediate effect.

     

    Given that Delhi and Gurugram are one of the largest business units of Havas Media Group India with clients ranging from auto, consumer durables, real-estate to fashion, F&B and hospitality sectors among others, the North operations have been consolidated under two unit heads – Roopali Sharma, who completes eight years and Harbir Singh, who completes six years. They have been promoted as Managing Partners – Delhi. Chandradeep Kumar completes five years and has been promoted to Senior Vice President (Delhi).

     

    The Mumbai office will be led by Manish Sharma (previously Vice President -Delhi) as Executive Vice President and Head – Mumbai. He has been with the organisation for over five years. Both North and West continue to report to Uday Mohan, President – North & West India.

     

    In Bengaluru, which has clients like Swiggy, Gamezy, MyGate and the recent win of Ola, the office will continue to be led by Saurabh Jain. He has been with the agency for over six years and has been promoted as Managing Partner – South.

     

    Meanwhile, Rohan Chincholi has been elevated to Head of Digital to oversee and consolidate the overall digital business/services across markets, as the agency strengthens its digital footprint in the region through its new Mx methodology that combines both consumer insight and data. This is Chincholi’s second stint at Havas Media. He rejoined the agency in 2017.  Jain and Chincholi will continue reporting to Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Group India.

    Havas Media Group India is reorganising and strengthening its team with Sanchita Roy taking over as Head of Strategy. Roy, who joined the group as Head of West to manage the overall Mumbai operations last year, is armed with over 19 years of experience in media planning and strategy.

    In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the growth strategy for Havas Media Group India and leading strategic investments for its clients.  Sanchita will continue to report to Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Group, India.

  • Havas Media Group launches Hi-Cricket

    Havas Sports & Entertainment has partnered with YouGov, a research and data analytics group, to launch Hi-Cricket, a proprietary study to understand the impact of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in influencing brand health metrics across categories.

    The study, led by the Havas Insight team, has respondents from key cities to get a deeper understanding of how a larger than life platform such as IPL helps influence mind measures. Hi-Cricket will also answer the role of premium media buys in impacting brand health, one of the most critical questions raised by advertisers today.

  • Havas Media wins integrated mandate of Micromax

    Havas Media India has won the integrated mandate of Micromax Informatics Ltd, the and consumer electronics company. The mandate includes both traditional and digital media as well as creative and strategy for the brand.

     

    The account was won following a multi-agency pitch and will be handled out of the agency’s Gurugram office led by Uday Mohan, President – North & West India, Havas Media.

  • Senior management at Havas go more senior

     

     

    Havas Group India has announced key elevations in its senior management team for Havas Media and Havas Creative.

     

    Uday Mohan, Managing Partner North & West, Havas Media will now be President, North & West. R Venkatasubramanian, National Head Buying, Havas Media will be President & National Head Investments. And Manas Lahiri, Managing Partner – North, Havas Creative has been elevated to President, North.

     

    Mohan and Venkat will continue to report to Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Group India and Lahiri will report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India.

The account has been assigned after multi-agency pitches and participation from the leading networks. The mandate won by Havas Media includes both offline and digital media duties.

  • Mohit Joshi is now CEO, Havas Media Group

    We thought he was CEO of Havas Media already, but now it’s formal and official. Havas Group India has announced the elevation of Mohit Joshi to Chief Executive Officer of Havas Media Group with immediate effect. Prior to this, Joshi was Managing Director of Havas Media Group. He will continue to report to Rana Barua, Group CEO, Havas Group India.

     

    Joshi has spent over 13 years at Havas Media and has 20+ experience in the media. He is also in the mancom of AAAI and IAMAI and is actively involved in other industry bodies as well.

  • MyGate allows Havas Media entry with media mandate

    Havas Media has bagged the media duties for MyGate, the community management solution, whose comprehensive offering comprises security, ERP and a host of other features for gated communities. Simply put the value added software for entry management solution that many housing complexes have embraced. The mandate includes over-the-top (OTT) media services and all offline media duties. The account was won following a multi-agency pitch. According to a Havas communique, the account size is estimated to be upwards of Rs 30 crore and will be handled out of the agency’s Bengaluru office led by Saurabh Jain, EVP – South, Havas Media.
