  • Mobile Premier League awards digital mandate to Performics India

    Performics India has won the digital media and analytics mandate for mobile e-sports platform Mobile Premier League (MPL). The business was won in a tightly-contested multi-agency pitch which saw participation from leading agencies. This win, notes a communique, along with other big recent wins like Cred, Udaan and the commerce mandate for ITC’s foods division, further strengthens Performics India’s Bengaluru office which was set-up in 2019.

     

    Said Rajat Gupta, Vice-President of Marketing at MPL: “MPL has a unique product offering in the fast evolving Mobile Gaming space. And we are in a phase of rapid expansion and growth. We were looking for a partner who would appreciate the complexity and scale of our business and would accordingly customize everything for us.   • Taproot bags Mobile Premier League mandate for IPL

    Taproot Dentsu has been awarded the creative mandate for Bangalore-based mobile gaming platform Mobile Premier League’s (MPL) 2020 IPL campaign. Taproot Dentsu won the mandate following a multi-agency pitch and will now service the account from its Mumbai office.

     

    Talking about the collaboration, Ayesha Ghosh, General Manager, Taproot Dentsu Mumbai, said: “We are very excited to win this business. Our interactions with the client team have been charged with positive energy. The brief was very sharp – to get gamers to download MPL where they could win money playing their favourite online games and a whole lot of new ones. We are now in the process of creating the films.   • Virat Kohli launches Mobile Premier League in a campaign by Lowe Lintas

    Following the appointment of Lowe Lintas Bangalore as its creative agency, Mobile Premier League has launched its maiden advertising campaign featuring cricketer Virat Kohli. The campaign celebrates budding heroes from the streets of India.

     

    Commenting on the maiden campaign, Sai Srinivas, CEO, Mobile Premier League said: “We wanted to launch with a bang and ensure our first TVC resonates with our brand and customers, which is why we wanted to keep it young, full of energy, exciting and appealing to Indians across.   • Mediacom bags Mobile Premier League mandate

    Following a competitive multi-agency pitch, GroupM’s media agency MediaCom has been awarded the media mandate for Mobile Premier League (MPL).

     

    As the AOR, MediaCom will be responsible for the media strategy, planning, buying and implementation for all media as per MPL’s requirements.  The last year has been exciting for MediaCom with a couple of big wins, with MPL adding another feather in their hat.
