Mirum India, a Wunderman Thompson company, launched the 3rd Edition of the ‘Mirum India MarTech Report’ today. The report, powered by WPP, provides an insightful guide to the emerging MarTech landscape in India. The report captures how MarTech solutions are being utilized by brands to effectively communicate their brand messages to the right set of audiences at the right time.

The report highlights that while the global spend on MarTech solutions is around 25% of the total marketing budget, in India, majority organizations spend less than 15%, indicating significant potential for growth. With MarTech spending set to increase across company sizes and sectors, 88% of respondents expect to increase their MarTech spending over the next three years. The report also emphasizes the need for brands and organizations to work with growth partners as preferred by MarTech HEROES, focusing on ROI, and delivering value to the brands.

Data-driven organizations, which make up 15% of the respondents, have a data-driven marketing edge that most other organizations might miss. However, the report cautions that with the advent of Web3, and the shift towards a cookie-less world, rethinking marketing strategies is on the cards for most organizations.

The report aims to provide clarity to the industry, enabling brands and growth partners to understand how the ecosystem can drive value for themselves and their clients.

Speaking on the launch of the report, Hareesh Tibrewala, Joint CEO – Mirum India, said: “The estimated size of the MarTech industry in India is expected to be between $35bn and $50bn by 2026, presenting a sizeable opportunity for businesses. Our latest report highlights how brands are using MarTech solutions to effectively deliver the right brand message to the right customer at the right time, creating fabulous customer experiences and increasing brand loyalty. It is interesting to note that marketers globally spend 25% of their budgets on MarTech solutions, and our report shows the emergence of MarTech EXPLORERS, who are keen to leverage the power of MarTech. This presents an exciting opportunity for businesses to grow and thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.”

CVL Srinivas, Country Manager – WPP India added: “To succeed in the rapidly evolving tech and data driven world, organizations need good marketing automation tools and diverse skill sets. • Mutual Funds Sahi Hai releases campaign for festive season

    By Our Staff

The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has released a set of two new films for the festive season. Created by Mirum India, the narrative is around relationships, something that is relevant not just from a festive season point-of-view, but also from an investment one.

Says Juzer Tambawalla Director – Products & Marketing at Franklin Templeton India, member of the Digital Committee at AMFI: “When you look at any relationship, you understand that making it work isn’t easy. There is a certain amount of commitment, dedication and patience required. Just like investments in Mutual Funds.”

Added Mohit Ahuja – Director (Brand Strategy & Client Services): “All investment communication typically speaks to the mind, as is logical. AMFI’s long-running ‘Mutual Fund Sahi Hai’ campaign has beautifully simplified the logic. With this new ‘Rishtey Nibhaana Sahi Hai’ spin, we aim to speak to the heart and make MFs be seen in an endearing light too. This secondary campaign also gives us another umbrella to use as and when required and adds back to the original thought. And what better way to start than the festive season.”

Speaking on the creative lens of the campaign, Naila Patel – ECD, Mirum added: ““When ‘Mutual Funds Sahi Hai’ campaign launched, it almost seemed like an oxymoron. The only thing people knew or recollected about Mutual Fund communication was the disclaimer that said “It’s risky, be careful” in a complicated way. But the campaign changed it all and now Mutual Funds and Sahi Hai seem to have become synonymous with each other. Hence this reiteration of ‘Sahi Hai’ to other walks of life becomes very relevant and fluid.”

  • Greenlam’s talks about the ‘new inclusive normal’

    By A Correspondent

Greenlam has launched a new digital campaign #InclusiveNormal to introduce its new range of what it claims are Covid-resistant laminates. The campaign was creatively led by Mirum India, a digital solutions agency from the WPP Group.

Said Arvind Nair, Regional Director, Mirum India: “This year has led us to rethink the way we look at our cities, workplaces, homes and how we interact with each other. In these times, we have unknowingly built a “new normal” without keeping in mind those who are dependent on social interactions and touch. Our aim was to bring out these instances and as we rebuild a safer world, to make it be more inclusive. “

Added Parul Mittal, Director, Greenlam Industries: “We are all aware that COVID-19 has changed our ‘normal’ way of living. And while we are all slowly and steadily adapting to this ‘New Normal’ of social distancing, contactless services and business, for the visually impaired community, however, it has been a time of unimaginable uncertainty and difficulties. The new normal has robbed them of the sense of touch which is highly important for their mobility and navigation. Through our latest campaign, Greenlam has thus pledged to contribute Re. 1 from each of our Greenlam Laminate sales, pan India. It also pleases me to share that Greenlam will now be able to offer laminates & compacts resistant to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). We will continue to work towards our commitment of providing technologically superior quality surfaces that ensure the spaces our consumers build, are safe from viruses, bacteria and other unhealthy contaminants.”
