  • RanaDaggubati associates with McDowell’s for Gemini TV initiative

    United Spirits brand McDowell’s is set to bring alive such friendships of well-known personalities from real to reel life in a new talk show called No 1 Yaari in collaboration with Mindshare andGroupM. Hosted by superstar RanaDaggubati, the show will be aired on Gemini TV starting June 25, 2017, every Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

     

    Commenting on the new show, Subroto Geed, Senior Vice President – Marketing, at United Spirits Limited said: “Joining hands with people who matter and curating a show that is all about bonds that last was always on our agenda. No. 1 Yaari by Mc Dowell’s No. 1 Luxury soda aims to cater to the need for interesting content on television.   • McDowell’s unveils unique contest on FB

    McDowell’s No 1 Soda has launched a new campaign urging the country’s friends to come together in a unique way to cheer for team India.

     

    The campaign celebrates the time-honoured tradition that when close friends who are also frenzied sport lovers come together to watch a cricket match, very often one person ends up making a silly promise in the hope of securing India’s victory.

     

    McDowell’s No. 1 Soda has roped in TV hosts and actors – Rannvijay Singh and Manish Paul, for a live act on Facebook. It is a first of its kind engagement where the duo will be seen making and fulfilling the wacky friendship promises.

     

    Commenting on the initiative, Subroto Geed, Senior Vice President, Marketing at United Spirits said, “We know that AsliYaars will do everything to fulfiltheir No.1 Yaari promises and help India win.   • McDowell’s #No.1 Yaari strikes a chord with viewers

    McDowell’s No.1 has created another milestone as it announced the launch of the first seven minute musical – #No.1 Yaari. Capturing the essence of close friendships, the brand has released this campaign across several platforms to connect and engage with its consumers. The seven minute movie has gained popularity since its release last week especially with the song - ‘Aisi Waisi Dosti Nahi’ by Mohit Chauhan becoming very popular written by Sonal Dabral-Executive Creative Director and Chairman of DDB Mudra and directed by Anupam Mishra. The overall essence and message of the film – of close buddies, nostalgia and special moments resonates with the brand proposition of McDowell’s No. 1 hence the right fitment.

     

    McDowell’s No.1 has already created a huge burst through digital, cinema, radio as well as television to promote this film.

Also #No.1 Yaari video has received over 46,000 likes/comments on social media in constrains. This has been the biggest content campaigns for McDowell’s No.1 in India till date.
