  • Tendulkar bats for Savlon

    Savlon Swasth India Mission unveiled former cricketing star Sachin Tendulkar as its ‘Hand Ambassador’.

     

    Conceptualized by Ogilvy India, the campaign features a series of films that take an unexpected route by featuring Sachin Tendulkar’s Hand as their chief protagonist – bringing the importance of hand hygiene to everyone’s notice and reminding people in his inimitable style, to remember to wash their hands.

  • Ogilvy films Sutaria for Savlon

    ITC Savlon has roped in actor Tara Sutaria as brand ambassador for Savlon Glycerine Soap that addresses the dual need of soft skin along with germ protection. A new film has been launched.

  • Ogilvy creates new campaign for ITC’s agarbattis

    ITC’s Mangaldeep agarbatti has launched a TVC with actor and brand ambassador Bhumika Chawla to  showcase its new range of agarbattis with camphor-tulsi and panchamrit fragrances.

     

    Speaking about the new campaign, Gaurav Tayal, Chief Executive, Agarbatti & Safety Matches Business, ITC Limited, said: “Traditions are the core of Indian culture. Our new range of Upaveda agarbattis is crafted with this “connect with traditions” in mind and draws inspiration from the ancient Vedic scriptures.   • McDonald’s partners ITC for beverage

    McDonald’s has partnered with ITC Ltd to add its fruit beverage, B Natural, to the Happy Meal. This initiative comes as a part of McDonald’s #25ActsofHappy campaign.  The new Happy Meal is available across all McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India only.

     

    Speaking on the launch of new offering, Arvind RP, Director – Marketing and Communications, McDonald’s India (West and South) said: “At McDonald’s, we have always been cognizant of the needs and demands of our ever-evolving consumers. Children are an integral part of the McDonald’s family and we are excited to bring this new wholesome Happy MealTM to them.   • ITC releases TVC for new Sunfeast Bounce biscuits

    ITC Ltd.’s Sunfeast Bounce has released two TVCs to draw attention towards the presence of Glucose in Sunfeast Bounce crème biscuits that was not available in the category so far. The campaign will also be supported by a host of digital activations and BTL activities across core target markets, with special regional focus in markets like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar and Orissa.

  • MMA extends deadline for entries submissions to Smarites

    MMA India has announced the extended deadline for entries submission to the Smarties Awards 2021. The new date is July 25, 2021. This is MMA’s tenth edition of Smarties India Awards, which is scheduled to be held virtually on September 24, 2021.

     

    To evaluate the campaigns across four key themes – media, marketing objectives, technology and creative – this year’s jury comprises of 27 senior level brand marketers led by jury chair Hemant Malik – Divisional Chief Executive – Foods at ITC limited. Other jury members include prominent marketers and brand specialists.

     

  • ITC Aashirvaad Svasti Select Milk’s new TVC

    ITC’s Aashirvaad Svasti recently launched a premium milk – Aashirvaad Svasti Select Milk in Kolkata. This comes with a ‘Doodher Report Card’ – a daily quality report of the pack of milk that consumers would buy. Aashirvaad has launched a new TVC, which features actor and TV host Rachana Banerjee as the brand ambassador. The film has been developed by Lowe Lintas, Bengaluru.

     

    Said Sanjay Singal, Chief Operating Officer – Dairy and Beverages, ITC Limited: “The key takehome point in the TVC is the ease with which mothers can now check the daily quality report of Aashirvaad Svasti Select Milk within seconds. We are India’s first milk brand to provide a quality report of milk on a daily basis. The report can be very easily checked on WhatsApp once the consumer sends the batch number of their pack of milk. Rachna Banerjee is a household name in Kolkata with a strong affinity among women. By bringing her onboard, we look forward to inculcating the habit of checking the quality of milk everyday amongst mothers and strengthen the connect with our audience.”

  • RMAI hold 11th edition of Flame Awards

    Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), the not-for-profit industry body devoted to furthering the cause of rural marketing in Asia, announced the winners for RMAI’s Flame Awards Asia 2020 at a ceremony held virtually.

     

    The awards were instituted way back in the year 2006 and this was the 11th edition of the awards. RMAI had received just 50 nominations in the first edition and over the years we have improved our credibility and quality, making a reach to 300+ nominations. However, owing to Covid, the numbers were comparatively less.

     

    This edition’s jury was chaired by Mr. S Sivakumar, Group Head – Agri. & IT Businesses, ITC Limited. The Jury comprised business leaders, brand custodians, marketers, media/advertising professionals, and domain experts in rural marketing. The entries were officially tabulated by Ernst & Young (EY).

     

    Said Biswabaran Chakrabarti, President, RMAI: “The current situation has taught us how to keep continuity in this new normal. Flame Award Asia, went into a virtual platform on its 11th edition. No compromise on the vigour of its evaluation process, no compromise on our quality checks, it is only re-imagined and re-invented. I am extremely happy to share that there was no short of enthusiasm from the participating organisations and our jury team has analysed each and every entry in minute details.     At the 11th edition, Impact Communications bagged the maximum metals including 13 Golds & 5 Silvers, while The Brand Brewery won 5 Golds & 6 Silver metals in different categories.

     

    Highlighting the execution of the event Dr Anup Kalra, Vice President – Rural Marketing Association of India & Director, Ayurvet Limited said: “This edition of the event is special as for the first time we went on virtual platform. The team thought to execute it with puppetry theme and it came out really well, which was also appreciated by the participants.”
