  • Havas Media ties up with Kerala’s IMC Advertising

    Havas Media Group, India has entered into a strategic partnership with IMC Advertising, a Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala-based advertising agency to strengthen its footprint in the southern market of India.

     

    Established in 2002, IMC is led by AV Bhanuprakash, Managing Director, Ummer Kutty CTP, Executive Director and Chairman M P Ahammed. IMC’s current client base includesMalabar Gold & Diamonds, Malabar Developers, Eham Digital, Malabar Watches, Neerayi Food Court and Cosmos Sports.

     

    As part of the deal, Havas Media Group will be handling the integrated media mandate of Malabar Gold & Diamonds (an estimated business of Rs50 crore), and further consolidating its presence in the south which currently comprises brands like Quikr, BlueStone, Swiggy, Strides Shasun, HolidayIQ, Moneyview, Darshan International & Embassy Group among others.

  • Havas Media appoints Gaurav Pandey as Group Director -Technology

    Havas Media India has announced the appointment of Gaurav Pandey as Group Director–Technology. He will be responsible for the company’s technology direction with focus on quality and efficiency across mobile, web and social media applications. He will be working closely with Soumitro Ganguly, Senior Manager, Mobext, India.

His brand portfolio includes several Fortune 500 brands like Pepsi, HP, Intel, Microsoft, Samsung, ITC, Volkswagen, Viacom18, Castrol, Pizza Hut, Axis Bank and Airtel.

     

  • Havas wins integrated media for iOrderFresh

     

     

    Havas Media Group India announced the win of the integrated media duties of iOrderFresh, a mobile-first commerce venture in the fresh perishable foods and groceries retail space. The mandate includes integrated media buying and planning across traditional media and digital solutions for search, social and mobile. The account will be handled by the Havas Media New Delhi office.

    Havas Media India has been awarded the integrated media duties of Assetz Property Group in Bengaluru. The business is estimated at about Rs 15 crore and will be handled out of the Havas Media Bengaluru office.

    Shaadi.com has launched a new TVC for Select Shaadi – the personalised matchmaking service. Based on the premise that in today’s world it is not easy to find one’s life partner, the TVC is directed by Vikas Bahl of ‘Queen’ movie fame. The creative agency is JWT and media agency is Havas Media India.

     

    The Select Shaadi TVC highlights the difference in perspective between two generations. The father is confused when his daughter says she ‘Likes’ the boy but does not ‘Like-Like’ him and says he must be a little like minded. The earlier week she explained that ‘Opposites Attract’.     Havas Media India has won the integrated media duties of Borosil Glass Works Ltd. in a multi agency pitch. The account is estimated to be upwards of INR 20 crores and will be handled out of the Havas Media Mumbai office.

     

    Borosil Glass Works is a leading producer of laboratory glassware and microwavable kitchenware in India having the ISO 9001 certification.

  • Havas Media appoints Hans Mathews as ED

    Havas Media India has appointed Hans Mathews as Executive Director of its West India operations. He will be based out of Havas Media’s Mumbai office.

     

    While Hans will manage the agency’s Mumbai office, his key mandate will be to drive growth for the group in the Western region.

     

    Hans joins with seventeen years of experience in the industry, having worked with international agencies in India, MENA and Malaysia. Most recently he was the Chief Client Officer at Mindshare Malaysia where he led Ford’s regional APAC media team managing partnerships with digital and content partners. He was also responsible for managing brands like UL, Maxis, Kraft, Nestle and HSBC. Prior to this Hans has held leadership roles at Mindshare India, Zenith Optimedia and other leading agencies.
