  • IIFL runs #StayHomeStaySafe #StayInvested TV campaign

    IIFL Securities has launched a new campaign #StayHomeStaySafe #StayInvested with #IIFLMarkets App as it sees massive traction on its account opening and trading requests through the mobile app. More than half of IIFL customers trade through IIFLMarkets App and the numbers are rising significantly since March as lockdown is implemented to fight Covid-19.

     

    The campaign is live on leading business channels such as CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNBC Bajar and ET Now.

     

    Speaking about the app and the campaign, R Venkataraman, MD of IIFL Securities said: “IIFL Markets App is the most popular stock trading app in the country which gives free access to NSE, BSE, MCX, and NCDEX, including comprehensive access to even Guest Users.   • CNBC Awaaz launches a new debate show ‘Takkar’

     

     

    CNBC Awaaz has launched a new debate-based show ‘Takkar’ to be hosted by well-known anchor Amish Devgan. The show – to be aired on weeknights at 9pm – will see Devgan interrogating participants in his inimitable style.

  • Gautam Bhanot joins NewsX as National Revenue Head

    ITV Network has roped in GautamBhanot as National Revenue Head for NewsX. Gautam will be responsible for the overall sales and revenue generation of the channel. He will focus on growing the top line for the company, while also creating new revenue streams and opportunities, and in turn significantly contributing to the overall growth of the ITV Network.

     

    Gautam is a seasoned media professional with more than 16 years of experience across leading media companies in revenue maximization, inventory management and market development. He comes with a proven track record of leading his team in achieving sales targets consistently. He joins NewsX from Network18 after a fruitful innings of 9 years, his last position being National Sales Head for CNN-IBN. Prior to this, he was Vice President – Sales, heading revenue generation for CNN-IBN, CNBC-TV18 and CNBC-AWAAZ, for the North region. Gautam’s has had successful stints at The Times of India & Economic Times and the TejBandhu Group.

The event, themed as Modern Marvel, was attended by Housing and Poverty Alleviation Minister Ajay Maken, along with notable names from India’s real estate fraternity.

  • Honcho changes at CNBC-TV18, Awaaz

    CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz announced changes to their revenue leadership team. Sonia Kapoor, who was earlier managing West & South regions as SVP & Regional Head for CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz, has now been elevated to National Revenue Head for CNBC-TV18. Sterling Ferreira has been appointed National Revenue Head for CNBC Awaaz. Ferreira was earlier in charge of national sales at CNN-IBN. The move is a part of the leadership re-alignment now underway at Network18 News Media, the client facing ad sales unit which manages the advertising interests of the news and factual entertainment channels at Network18 Group.

     

    Speaking on this development, Anil Uniyal, CEO, CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz said, “Both Sonia and Sterling have been remarkable contributors to the brands they have been entrusted with over the years. Sonia’s been instrumental in establishing CNBC-TV18 as a benchmark in the monetization of news brands and her perspective in charting the next phase of its growth will be critical.     Ms Kapoor has over a decade of experience in ad sales including stints at the Indian Express Group, TV Today Network. She joined the Network18 Group in 2002. Mr Ferreira has over two decades experience spanning a variety of media including the Indian Express Group, Business Standard, ABP, Tata, Red FM. He joined the Network18 Group in 2005.

  • Viewers can name upcoming A&M show on Awaaz

    Hindi business channel, CNBC Awaaz, plans to launch first-ever show on advertising and marketing. This is the first time a channel will be looking at the world of marketing and advertisement from the consumer’s perspective. The channel will attempt to engage and connect consumers with experts from advertising, marketing and media planning sector through the show.

     

    Aimed at decoding the world of advertising for the consumers, each episode will consist of various segments. The first segment will focus on the campaign of the week and the various teams behind its success – creative, marketing and media planning.

     

    The second session will be a ‘Marketing Classroom’, where some of the best case studies will be analysed to guide SMEs in building their brand. This would be followed by the news of the week with the latest reports from the M&A world and issues related to the ASCI and consumer courts.

     

    Keeping in mind the focal point of the show and its primary stakeholders, the channel has launched a unique contest Kya Hoga Iss Show Ka Naam. From July 9, consumers as well as experts from the A&M sector can suggest a suitable name for this upcoming show.
