  • Amagi and Zee expand partnership to drive choice and value for advertisers

    Amagi Media Labs and Zee Entertainment Enterprise have furthered their partnership, adding Zee Cinema to their list of channels that serve geo-targeted TV ads. A significant development, Zee Cinema will now give advertisers targeted access to over 158,600,000 viewers and coverage across 16 markets where Amagi has the capability to deliver geo-targeted content. These 16 markets are: Delhi-NCR, UP, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, North-east, J&K, Mumbai, Rest of Maharashtra, MPCG, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and All India- DTH.

     

    Zee Cinema gets added to the list of high-viewership channels which are already on amagi platform that includes: Zee News, Zee TV, Zee Marathi, Zee Kannada and Zee Bangla (for Bangladesh)

  • TAM’s AdEx to certify ad spots for Amagi

    Amagi has announced that its ad spots will be certified by AdEx India, a division of TAM Media Research. AdEx India is the country’s most prominent advertising monitoring and information unit. This arrangement has come into effect from 1st, February, 2015.

     

    The certification adds a new dimension to Amagi’s offering of geo-targeted advertisements on television. An endorsement of Amagi’s ad-spot reporting mechanisms, the certification will include proof of execution and time of delivery, which will be included in the company’s post-campaign report. The certification is currently specific to Zee TV ad-inventory purchased through Amagi.

  • Amagi announces deployment of Cloudport for MOC

    Amagi has announced a full-fledged deployment of its CLOUDPORT Edge Playout servers for Magic of Cinema (MOC), a 24×7 free-to-air movie channel across 17 digital cable platforms.

     

    Using cloud technologies, Amagi has enabled MOC to launch its channel at a fraction of traditional satellite/fiber infrastructure costs. The entire playout is managed at Amagi’s Data Operations Center in Bangalore, consistently delivering at 100 percent on service level performance. Amagi’s CLOUDPORT edge servers and its cloud-based unified management user interface has dramatically simplified channel playout across multiple cable platforms for MOC.

    Amagi, the leader in cloud-based TV broadcast platforms has announced the opening of its sales and support office in Tokyo, Japan. The office will oversee Amagi’s progression into the Japanese TV broadcasting industry, giving TV networks in the region improved access to its path-breaking channel playout and monetization solutions.

     

    The office in Tokyo will be managed by Shunsuke Matsuda, former Executive Technology Officer for Future Strategies at Panasonic.   • Horse & Country TV gallops ahead with Amagi

    As part of its accelerating international expansion, Horse & Country TV, the specialist equestrian sports and lifestyle network, has announced its partnership with Amagi Media Labs to deliver its signal to cable, satellite and IPTV operators.

     

    Amagi offers a cloud-based broadcast distribution and playout infrastructure for television networks. The Bengaluru-based company runs what it claims as India’s largest local advertising network playing more than 1 million local ad seconds every month on more than 10 TV networks ranging from sports and news to entertainment and lifestyle.   • Amagi takes MAA TV network Singapore

    Leading Telugu-language network, Maa Television, is now using Amagi’s localization platform for creating customized local feeds to Singapore for its ‘Maa TV’ and ‘Maa Movies’ channels. Maa TV has gone live with custom feeds on SingTel mio TV since April, 2013.

     

    Broadcasters with common multi-country broadcast feeds can now adapt Amagi’s patent-pending localization platform to easily fine-tune programming played out in individual countries. Broadcasters can ‘opt out’ of specific programs or even specific spot advertising in a country and replace it with some other locally appropriate content for the country by utilizing Amagi’s revolutionary cloud-based localization platform.
