  • Zoom takes off in Sri Lanka

    Zoom – the popular Hindi Entertainment channel has announced its entry into Sri Lanka. Zoom TV will be available on Dialog Television on channel no. 47 on Gold , Emerald, Diamond and Thee packages.

     

    Dialog Television’s Head of Business, Chirantha De Zoysa, said “Bollywood has a huge following in Sri Lanka, and Zoom will serve as an ideal outlet for the very latest in music, movies and information on the latest action. This is another example of Dialog Television adding significant value to its viewership across all segments via a pioneering partnership, and we look forward to growing this segment in time to come.”

     

    Commenting on venturing into a new international market Naveen Chandra Head- International Business – Times Network said, “With this launch Times Network is now present in 78 countries and we are happy to see the initial positive feedback from the market. We have recently launched in Seychelles and Mauritius.   • Volini’s digital campaign draws good response

    Pain-relieving brand Volini’s nine-day long digital campaign – ‘Volini Pat On The Back’ received a good response from the consumers. Conceptualized and conceived by Volini, the idea was executed by WATConsult and managed to receive 51,000 entries through ‘pats’.

     

    With the core idea of acknowledging and appreciating the efforts made by women to give us a pain-free life, Volini launched the pat on the back campaign wherein people applauded the special women in their life. This was done through several digital medium viz. Facebook, a microsite, through the IVR by sending a SMS or making a call on the toll-free number. Best messages were gratified by sending a special gift to both the pat sender and the receiver.

    A specially designed microsite and Facebook were prime sources of engagement. Besides IVR integrations through which the pats were sent, SMS and call on toll-free numbers were also introduced. The campaign was supported through Zoom TV with integrations, print with Times of India in key metro editions and radio tags and RJ mentions on Oye and Big FM. Apart from this, there were on-ground activations created in corporate hubs and malls in key cities to encourage people to participate in the campaign.

     

  • Zoom TV launches responsive website Zoomtv.in

    Bollywood channel Zoom has ramped up its internet presence with a new responsive website, Zoomtv.in. Developed by Times Internet, the new website automatically adapts and resizes itself according to the resolution of a device. Hence, a single site is displayed in different visual formats with flexible images and fluid grids. In today’s world of multi-screen experiences, like phones, tablets, and computers, responsive sites automatically adjust to give the best experience for each one.

     

    Zoom TV has already established itself in the social media space, with 3.2 million fans on its Facebook page, 1.6 lakh subscribers on YouTube and a strong presence across Google+, Twitter, Socialcam and Pinterest.

Besides regular channel programming, the site will feature exclusive videos and unused footages from the channel to offer depth to its video content.
