  • IDPL rolls out ScreenBox

    IndiaDotcom Digital Private, Limited (IDPL), formerly known as Zee Digital, has announced the launch of its entertainment portal ScreenBox.in. The platform will offer coverage from the world of showbiz across various genres, including World Cinema, Bollywood, Hollywood, Regional Cinema, OTT, TV and music industry.

     

    Speaking on the market demand in terms of news content consumption, Roshan Tamang, Chief Content Officer, IndiaDotcom Digital Private Limited, said: “Video is now the preferred format of content on Digital.     India TV has announced the appointment of Puja Sethi as Group Editor – Digital. Her last stint was with Zee Digital as a group Editor. Her career has evolved around Broadcast, Print and digital journalism.

     

    On her appointment, Ritu Dhawan, MD – India TV said: “We welcome Puja to the family. We are sure she will add value to India TV’s digital ecosystem and help us attain the predetermined organisational goals.”

     

  • Zee Digital appoints Archana Anand as Business Head, DittoTV

    Archana Anand the current Vice-President & Head-Global Business Development, performance marketing and life cycle management at Zee Digital Convergence Ltd, will be the new Business Head of dittoTV. In her role as Business Head-dittoTV she will report to Debashish Ghosh-CEO, ZDCL (Zee Digital Convergence Limited, the digital arm of ZEEL).

  • Ditto TV aligns with Percept H

    Percept H has won the creative mandates for the recently launched Ditto TV, the OTT (over the top) television offering from Zee. The win comes after a multi-agency pitch. The account size is pegged to be at Rs10 crore.

     

    Commenting on the selection, Manoj Padmanabhan, Head of Marketing, Zee Digital said: “Since this is a new category inIndia, we were looking for an intrinsic understanding of new technologies and media consumption trends. Percept H was a winner in terms of understanding of the business and also in terms of crafting impactful creative.”

     

    Ayan Chakraborty, Chief Growth Officer, Percept H said: “The team is excited to be working on this brand, which is surely going to set a new trend in terms of media consumption in this country.”

     

    While this is the first time any of the media majors have invested in this technology inIndia, OTT TV is a proven and very successful format globally, for on-the-go consumption of media and entertainment. Some of the leading players like Sky generate a significant amount of revenues through this channel format.
