  • Leo Burnett bags Goqii digital healthcare biz

    Fitness technology company Goqii has mandated Leo Burnett India to handle its strategic and creative mandate. The account will be handled by the agency’s Mumbai office.

  • Mediacom bags GOQii’s India Health Quiz digital mandate

    Following a competitive multi-agency pitch, MediaCom has been awarded the digital media mandate for GOQii’s India Health Quiz (IHQ), a first-of-its-kind, nationwide initiative to educate the masses with information on health. GOQii, is tech-enabled smart preventive healthcare company promoted by entrepreneur Vishal Gondal.

     

    Joining hands with GOQii, MediaCom will be responsible for digital media strategy, planning, buying and implementation across digital media as per GOQii’s requirements for IHQ.

     

    Commenting on the win, Navin Khemka, CEO, MediaCom South Asia, said: “In this health and fitness conscious era, GOQii’s products are hitting the right chord by providing preventive health and wellness ecosystem to a wider audience.   • Vishal Gondal, founder of Indiagames, moves on

    Vishal Gondal, Founder and CEO of Indiagames and Managing Director – Digital of Disney UTV, will be moving on from the company. His last working day will be June 30. Sameer Ganapathy, who was earlier handling the distribution for the media networks business of Disney UTV, will now take on the business function for the digital arm of Disney UTV.

     

    Ronnie Screwvala, MD, Disney UTV, said, “Vishal has been a great founder and CEO for Indiagames. As we consolidate the digital, mobile and web play for Disney UTV in India, we plan to build on our creative prowess and transform the digital business to be a direct to consumer, yet working closely with all our partners, telecom operators, OEMs and others. This is similar to our approach in our other verticals of movies, broadcasting and consumer products. Sameer Ganapathy brings an astute business sense and high resourcefulness to this position, which is key to meet the ever growing trajectory of the digital business in India.”
