    Dentsu Creative India has promoted Surjo Dutt to the position of Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Dentsu Creative Webchutney.

    In his new role, Dutt will spearhead the creative vision of the agency, ensuring the delivery of innovative and integrated solutions that foster business growth for clients. Additionally, he will mentor and guide the creative teams, cultivating a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and excellence. Dutt will continue to report to Amit Wadhwa, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dentsu Creative India.

  • Dentsu Creative appoints Surjo Dutt as the CCO for W&S regions

    Dentsu Creative India has appointed Surjo Dutt as Chief Creative Officer (CCO) for the West & South regions.

     

    As per the mandate, Dutt will spearhead creative excellence at Dentsu Creative India, leading the charge in aligning with the agency’s global vision.

  • FCB India announces restructuring

    FCB Group in India had recently announced the restructuring of its creative agencies and a new three-agency structure – FCB Ulka, FCB Interface and FCB India. FCB India, the newest agency in the fold, led by Swati Bhattacharya as the Creative Chairperson. It has now announced its newly elevated C-Suite leadership team.

     

    FCB India will be led by Debarpita Banerjee as Chief Executive Officer, Surjo Dutt as Chief Creative Officer and John Thangaraj as Chief Strategy Officer. In their previous roles, Banerjee, Dutt and Thangaraj were President – North & East, National Creative Director and National Planning Director, respectively.

    Hamdard Laboratories, which forayed in the Ready-to-Drink segment with RoohAfza Fusion and RoohAfza Milk Shake products, has released digital campaigns celebrating the ‘Double Dose’ of these flavour combinations. The campaigns crafted and conceptualised by FCB Ulka will be launched on digital media with the messaging – Freshness and Taste Ka Double Dose.

  • Bausch+Lomb Ultra targets users via digital campaign

    Bausch and Lomb launched a new digital campaign for its product – Bausch + Lomb Ultra, which provides 16 hours of comfortable wear. The campaign includes a series of six digital ads – three renditions each of 15 seconds and six seconds.

     

    Speaking about the campaign, Sanjay Bhutani, Managing Director, Bausch and Lomb India said: “We at Bausch+Lomb have been thriving to make products that are consumer friendly, since decades. As times have changed and things are becoming digital, a chunk of the population is exposed to some or the other form of Digital screen. As a matter of fact, a spectacle wearing millennial typically spends 10-12 hours a day on multiple screens. This tends to dry out the eyes and thus making contact lens usage uncomfortable. To overcome this, we have launched Ultra-16 hour comfort lenses which could be worn up to 16 hours without any discomfort.”

     

    The ads have been conceptualised, developed and shot by FCB-Ulka. Said Surjo Dutt , National Creative Director, FCB-Ulka: “In a category as silent as contact lenses, these quirky films will stand out not just for their visual appeal but also for being so relevant and with-the-times.”

     

     

  • Pick and choose service as FCB Ulka sets up Bushfire for startups

    Leading agency network FCB Ulkahas announced the launch of a highly-hybridized service Bushfire, billed as a one-stop shop for start-ups.

     

    The premise: With the emergence of start-ups, there cropped up the need of a specialized agency model to comply to their needs. Since these set- ups require select services, the need to break the conventional organization structures complimented with agility formed the premise of the prototype - Bushfire. epic shit. without bullshit.

     

    So instead of a regular retainer fee model, the services are offered in a menu format, with each service having a card rate. The Bushfire team includes a mix of profesionals from across departments ranging from art, crafting, planning, film making and execution without the conventional shackles of three vendor quotes or the likes akin the ‘Shapeshifters’.

     

    Commenting on the launch, Rohit Ohri, Group Chairman and CEO of FCB India, said: “Startups are looking for ways to prove traction to investors and are generally operating on borrowed capital with a short runway – time is always of the essence and results are imperative for their survival. They are looking for an agency with a different mindset.”

     

    Surjo Dutt, NCD, FCB Ulka, doubles up as the NCD for Bushfire and will be closely working with Romit Nair, Creative Head, Bushfire. In his role, Nair will report to Dutt.Bushfire’s CRM division will be managed by Satish Ramachandran.

  • Kansai Nerolac celebrates the magic of HD in latest campaign

  • FCB Ulka appoints Surjo Dutt as NCD

    FCB Ulka has appointed Surjo Dutt as National Creative Director. Dutt joins FCB Ulka from Sapient Nitro where he worked as Head of Creative – Delhi.

     

    Surjo played a key role in the most successful year for Sapient Nitro’s advertising business since its’ inception in India, notes a communiqué, adding: “The Delhi office won marquee creative projects for brands like Nestle, British Airways and Philips during his 15-month stint.”
