  • Digitas appoints Suraj Nambiar to head West

    Digitas, the global marketing and technology services brand of the Publicis Groupe, has announced the appointment of Suraj Nambiar as Senior Vice President and West Head. He will report to Sonia Khurana, COO of Digitas India.

     

    Welcoming Nambiar to the agency, Khurana said: “We’re delighted to have Suraj join us as head of our Mumbai office. In a platform world, multiple disciplines like technology, data, creative and media come together to deliver customer experiences and solve business challenges. All our assignments now are in these areas. Suraj’s rich experience in media, digital and communications plus his entrepreneurial streak is what we need to continue to raise the bar”.

     

    On joining the agency and his role ahead, Nambiar added: “We are living in a truly connected world and I am excited to be part of Digitas given its deep expertise and focus on technology and communications in creating digital experiences. These last few days I have been working with a very talented team, across different disciplines and I am looking forward to create some amazing work together.”

     

  • Tonic Worldwide ropes in Suraj Nambiar to lead South operations

    Tonic Worldwide has appointed Suraj Nambiar as Managing Partner and media head in India. Nambiar will be leading the agency’s operations in South along with driving the National Media division, based out of their Bangalore office.

    Prior to Tonic, Nambiar was at Wavemaker, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the digital division and managing key client relationships. He has worked with brands across many industries such as Tata Tea Global Beverages, Myntra, Arvind Brands, Enamor, Toyota, Amazon, Puma, Tanishq, 3M, Titan Industries, Mercedes Benz, DHL, Colgate, Nivea, Accenture, Kingfisher, Samsung, Make My Trip, Yahoo, Sony and Canon.

    Global marketing communications consultancy Maxus has further strengthened its top management by appointing Suraj Nambiar as General Manager, Maxus Digital, South. Suraj will play a dual role of leading the digital business for south and improving the product for all our non-paid digital media services (creative, social, native, and influencer).

     

    Maxus South has been growing rapidly and handles some of the most prestigious clients of the region. Suraj Nambiar will report in to Vishal Jacob- National Director, Digital, Maxus. With Suraj coming on board, Maxus has consolidated the senior management strength in the South.

He was previously associated with Interactive Avenues, Mindshare, MEC, The Big idea (Dubai) and Quasar where his main responsibilities were creating digital strategy, leading teams across offices, winning new business and managing the P&L for the division.
