  • Publicis Health appoints Dorelle Kulkarni as Senior VP

    Publicis Health, the healthcare unit from Publicis Worldwide, India has appointed senior health and communications expert, Dorelle Kulkarni as the Senior Vice President. As the head of the unit, Kulkarni will lead a team of dedicated healthcare specialists while also managing growth, strategy and communications output for the agency. She will report to Srija Chatterjee, MD, Publicis Worldwide, India.

     

    Kulkarni joins the agency from Strategic Partners Group (SPG) where she was the Vice President and managed three key verticals for the company including PR, digital and creative brand solutions.

The unit had an amazing run last year servicing some great pharma & healthcare brands while also winning multiple new clients.   • Specialist communications firm, Commwiser, begins ops in India

    Witnessing the growth in professional services segment along with changing needs of technology sector (Consumer and Enterprise), Aman Abbas who has spent close to two decades in PR industry announced his plans to launch specialist communications firm to focus on these sectors.

    Senior communications professional Aman Abbas has set up Commwiser, a PR firm specializing in the consumer and enterprise sectors. The agency will initially operate from Delhi-NCR and Mumbai and will follow up with expansion in South East Asia.

     

    Said Abbas: “Professional services sector in India is one of the fastest growing sectors and ranges across domains including, Accounting, Legal, Consulting, Financial, Human capital, technology and many more. That along with my personal passion for technology sector will allow ‘Commwiser’ to offer specialist knowledge and services to this sector.”

     

    Commwiser is being funded by Abbas in his personal capacity and ‘Strategic Partners Group’, which operates specialist brands ‘SPAG, D Yellow Elephant and Giga Health’ across Asia-Pacific.

  • Comm consultancy Spag starts global ops

    Healthcare communications professional Aman Gupta has launched a new multi-discipline communications organization with a global footprint. Spag (Strategic Partners Group), a firm focused on delivering impact and value to its clients through a research-led and creative approach, has offices in India (New Delhi, Mumbai) and Singapore with network offices in London, Washington and Toronto.

     

    Commenting on the launch, Mr Gupta, Managing Partner, Spag, said, “Research and creativity are increasingly becoming cornerstone for any successful communications campaign and with SPAG we will be focused on delivering impact and value based on these two drivers.”
