  • Rana Barua departs from CLA; Sajan Raj Kurup assumes charge again

    Leading independent agency Creativeland Asia and Rana Barua have decided to part ways. On Tuesday, the company issued the following official statement post the annual board review: “Following the board review last month, we arrived at a decision to part ways. It was great to have him here and we thank him for the time he has invested at Creativeland. Rana remains a lovely friend and we wish him the best in his future endeavours,” said Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder and Creative Chairman.

     

    Noted a statement: Kurup will drive the growth and diversification plans hands-on along with CLA’s long-term financial consultant turned full time CFO, Venkat Balasubramanian, Ventureland CEO, Srijib Mallik and a team of business

     

    Commenting on the move, Barua said: “After strong stints in advertising and communications, I have decided to take some time out to pursue newer interests. It’s been a short yet wonderful experience working with the talented and audacious bunch at CLA. I wish Raj and the CLA team the very best for a fabulous future.”

     

     

  • Ventureland Asia to enhance online marketing strategy for Pizza Hut in India

    Pizza Hut has brought on board Ventureland Asia to enhance its performance and online marketing strategy in the Indian market. Ventureland Asia will collaborate with Baaash, the digital communication and content division company of the Creativeland Asia Group.

  • Creativeland Asia appoints Manas Lahiri to head Delhi-NCR

    Creativeland Asia has announced the appointment of Manas Lahiri to lead its Delhi-NCR region business. In his last assignment, Lahiri was at Contract Bengaluru as Senior Vice President & General Manager.

    Speaking on the hire, Srijib Mallik, Board Member & Chief Operating Officer, Creativeland Asia who has recently taken on the role of leading Ventureland Asia, the investment company started by Creativeland founder Sajan Raj Kurup said: “When we met Manas for the first time a couple of years back, we were smitten by his understanding of the Creativeland Culture and were looking at the right opportunity to bring him in. Led by a passion for creative solutions, he comes with well-rounded experience in Sales & Marketing, Brand Management and Advertising.   • Creativeland appoints Srijib Mallik as COO

    Creativeland Asia, India’s leading communications community, has announced the appointment of Srijib Mallik as COO of the company. Mr Mallik will initially set up and front expansion plans in the Delhi NCR region before driving the growth agenda internationally.

    Mr Malik comes in with more than 15 years of advertising and marketing communications experience across W+K, London & India, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, Singapore & India, and JWT, India, among others. His most recent title was as head of Bates CHI & Partners for Delhi and Mumbai. He has worked on brands including Pepsi, Nokia, HP, Cisco,  Pizza Hut, Royal Enfield, General Motors, to name a few. He is a Sloan fellow from the London Business School who dabbles in Vedic astrology and start up consulting.
