  • Publicis confirms Srija Chatterjee’s exit, dissolves role

    Publicis Worldwide has today that Srija Chatterjee, Managing Director, Publicis Worldwide India will be moving on from the organisation. But there will be no further additions to the PWW leadership team with this movement, a communique informed. The agency network recently announced the integration of BBH and a joint leadership team of Subhash Kamath and Russell Barrett to oversee BBH-PWW.

     

    Commenting on Chatterjee’s move, Subhash Kamath, CEO, BBH-PWW  said: “We thank Srija for all her contribution to PWW and wish her all the very best in her future endeavours. Publicis Worldwide stands at an important growth juncture and with very talented teams and a robust brand portfolio already in place, we will continue to build on the momentum.   • Zee says #BanegiBaatSaathSaath in partnership with marquee CPG brands

    Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) announced its content comeback via a partnership with leading CPG brands. Zee collaborated with leading brands – Nestle Maggi, Amul Lassi, PepsiCo, Red Label, Cadbury Dairy Milk, ITC Dark Fantasy to gear up the nation for its daily content comeback on Zee TV on July 13. Four other HSM channels –  & TV(HGEC), Zee Marathi, Zee Yuva (MGEC) and Zee Punjabi (PGEC) – also made their daily content comeback on the same day.

  • Publicis Health appoints Dorelle Kulkarni as Senior VP

    Publicis Health, the healthcare unit from Publicis Worldwide, India has appointed senior health and communications expert, Dorelle Kulkarni as the Senior Vice President. As the head of the unit, Kulkarni will lead a team of dedicated healthcare specialists while also managing growth, strategy and communications output for the agency. She will report to Srija Chatterjee, MD, Publicis Worldwide, India.

     

    Kulkarni joins the agency from Strategic Partners Group (SPG) where she was the Vice President and managed three key verticals for the company including PR, digital and creative brand solutions.

  • Publicis wins creative mandate of Emami Navratna

    After a keenly contested multi-agency pitch, Publicis India has bagged the creative mandate of Navratna. The account will be serviced out of the agency’s New Delhi office. Publicis India will be providing full-service responsibilities for the brand including advertising, strategic direction and digital ideas.

     

    Confirming the appointment of Publicis India as the creative agency, Harsha V Agarwal, Director, Emami Limited said: “We are happy to be associated with Publicis India.     Ethnic fashion brand for women Biba has appointed Publicis India as its creative agency. Won after a multi-agency pitch, Publicis India will be providing full-service responsibilities including advertising, strategic direction and brand activation ideas. The account will be serviced out of New Delhi. Biba, it may be recalled, is known for its ‘hat ke’ creative work by Lowe Lintas.

  • Suraj Pombra is now ED at Publicis India

    Publicis India has announced the elevation of Suraj Pombra to the role of Executive Director effective immediately. He was until recently the Executive Vice President, managing business and clients for Publicis Capital’s Mumbai office. The move comes on the back of the agency putting up a strong growth this year, especially the Mumbai office which has bagged a rich roster of clients in recent months.

    Pombra will continue to manage a cluster of brands under Publicis Capital including L’Oréal, Netmeds.com, Zee5 India, Linen Club among others while also being involved in new business growth mandate for the agency. He will continue to report to Srija Chatterjee, MD, Publicis India.

     

    In addition, Pombra also takes over the role of Market Acceleration Lead (Country Head) at Publicis Emil, the bespoke new model integrated agency created by the Publicis Groupe to specially manage the global digital transformation mandate for Mercedes-Benz.

  • Publicis Capital bags creative mandate of Zee5 India

    Publicis Capital has bagged the creative mandate of Zee5 India, OTT platform from Zee Entertainment. The agency will manage the creative duties for the leading OTT brand across its AVOD, SVOD, Regional SVOD and Trade (B2B) verticals. The account will be serviced out of Mumbai.

  • Publicis India shifts base to new office in Mumbai

    Publicis India has announced its relocation to an all-new office in Mumbai’s iconic commercial landmark in Parel (East). Until last year, the office partly housed the India headquarters of WPP agency, Grey.

     

    Apart from being centrally located, the new space sports an open plan office arrangement with no cabins to facilitate collaboration that will allow room for multiple debates, discussions, and ideation. It includes two floors which seats over 350 employees.

     

    On the new office, Srija Chatterjee, MD, Publicis India said: “We’re all really excited to move into this new space. The aesthetics of the office space truly depicts our culture which is one of collaboration, integration and unrestrictive flow of work.   • Ajay Gahlaut joins Publicis India as CCO & MD

    It’s now official. Publicis Worldwide India has announced that Ajay Gahlaut has joined as Chief Creative Officer & Managing Director, Publicis Worldwide India and will be based out of the Mumbai office. Gahlaut will begin his stint at Publicis on February 4, 2019.

    He joins Publicis after a brief stint as an independent consultant where he provided strategic guidance and brand solutions for multiple clients across various categories. Bassi has worked with leading market research networks such as TNS, IMRB and NFO and led the Strategic Planning function in advertising agencies including Cheil, Ogilvy, JWT, McCann in India and abroad.
