    Following a multi-agency pitch, Span Communications has been appointed as the social media and taxpayer outreach agency by Directorate of Income Tax. The agency will bring in its digital expertise to strengthen the Income Tax’s communication and brand architecture.

    In an effort to emphasise the benefits and importance of Aadhaar Card, UIDAI is undertaking a major TV campaign. In the wake of a multi-agency RFP and pitch, Span Communications, won the media mandate for the campaign. Carat is the incumbent agency.

  • Span Communications acquires creative mandate of Sagarmala

    Span Communications has acquired the advertising mandate of Sagarmala Project – a Government of India project aimed at promoting port-led development in the country by harnessing India’s 7,500 km long coastline, 14,500 km of potentially navigable waterways and strategic location on key international maritime trade routes.

    Span Communications has won the 360-degree media campaign for the Ministry of Finance, Government of India focusing on demonetization and making India a cashless economy.

     

    Understanding the high level of cash dependency in India, the campaign is based on the theme – Chodo kal Ki Batein, highlighting the ease of digital transactions through various platforms and moving with the times. Actor Ajay Devgan has participated in the campaign and urged the public to push digital and e-transactions to the forefront, making e-banking, e-wallets, and other transaction apps more prevalent.

  • Span Communications wins media and creative mandate of IBA’s cybersecurity campaign

    In a multi-agency pitch, Span Communications won the media and creative mandate of Indian Bank Association’s campaign on Cyber Security Awareness. The media campaign ran during the International Cyber Security Week, starting November 30, 2016.

     

    Commenting on the win, Founder and CEO Naresh Khetrapal said, “Cybercrime is growing at an alarming rate in the country and a sizable number of citizens are falling prey to cyber frauds. To build a cyber security culture, it is imperative to educate and aware the public. We, at Span, are proud to be associated with an initiative like this”.

     

    Span Communications is also handling the digital/ social media campaign of Financial Inclusion, Ministry of Finance, supported by IBA for a period of 12 months.
