  • Hungama Artist Aloud & DeadAnt to boost regional comedy

    Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent artists and content, has partnered with DeadAnt to curate, acquire and distribute regional stand-up comedy content on its OTT platform Hungama Play and also in the podcast format  from 5TH January2022. The idea is to provide regional comedians a platform within Hungama’s network for a wider reach.

     

    Speaking about the concept and the association, Soumini Sridhara Paul – Senior Vice President, Hungama Artist Aloud, said: “Regional comedy acquisition perfectly ties in with our core philosophy of creating pathways for independent artists from different backgrounds and cultures. While all these artists are popular names in the regional market, we wanted to provide them a global platform via OTT. Since regional content, in terms of web series, movies and songs are popular in the country, we know the potential stand-up comedy has all over the world, and even closer to home. We also wanted viewers to enjoy comedy while being in the comfort of their homes along with their friends and family, and this partnership with DeadAnt has given us the opportunity to make this happen.”

  • Artist Aloud partners with ATKT.in to promote original content

    Artist Aloud, a platform by Hungama that supports and promotes independent music, announced its partnership with ATKT.in–adigital platform that seeks to promote original content created by college students. Through this strategic partnership, Artist Aloud will encourage young talent and enable them to reach a larger audience, further strengthening its position as the leading platform for independent content.

     

    Talking about the new partnership with ATKT.in, Soumini Sridhara Paul, Vice President, Artist Aloud, Hungama Digital Media Entertainment said: “As the leading platform for independent talent, we intend to offer artistes across categories an opportunity to reach a larger audience.   • ‘Who is the idiot’, asks 9XM

    9XM has created a music video around the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections titled ‘Who is the idiot’. The music video features 9XM’s popular animated characters – Bade and Chote and has been created in collaboration with Artist Aloud, Rapper BlaaZe and Paul J.

     

    Speaking of the music video Soumini Sridhara Paul, Business & Product Head-Artist Aloud said “Artist Aloud is extremely proud to have been instrumental in bringing 9XM on board as a partner to create an Election Campaign offering for the masses. 9XM’s quick response and creativity to bring this song alive is a true example of how magic can happen when you have the right product.”

They will be spread across popular digital hangouts like Facebook, Twitter (#whoistheidiot) Youtube, Google+, whatsapp, BBM, WeChat, Pinterest, Instagram and Vine. The song will also be available in the form of CRBT (SMS IDIOT to 54646) through popular telecom partners.
