    Enterr10 TV Networks elevates Shrutish Maharaj as group Chief Business Officer of its flagship GEC Dangal TV. Maharaj will also be overseeing the Group’s media planning and buying as an additional responsibility over his current role. He will be reporting to Manish Singhal, Managing Director, Enterr10 Television Network Pvt Ltd.

    Said Singhal: “We need the A team for the A game and it’s quite heartening to have Shrutish back at the helm of affairs. Investing in the right content mix is our topmost priority right now and it really helps to have the right people walk with us towards the common goal. Shrutish is a fearless young leader who shares my passion & vision for the media and entertainment space.”

    Added Maharaj: “I am equally elated to lead Dangal 2.0. The industry saw us create and then re-create benchmarks for the entire genre last time around, but it will be equally challenging and exciting to have a go at it again with the lot of changed variables and only one constant, which is a firm belief in your own brand. Dangal Originals give us a lot of edge over competition, not only in terms of positioning and differentiation but also as a great revenue opportunity.   • Lotus Enterprise onboards Shrutish Maharaj as Chief Business Officer

    Lotus Enterprise, the parent company of leading Marathi GEC, Fakt Marathi and sister concern of Enterr10 TV network, has unveiled its growth plans in the regional entertainment space. The soon-to-be-launched Kannada GEC, Dangal Kannada will be the group’s foray in south regional entertainment space. Former Enterr10 network Executive Shrutish Maharaj has been appointed to lead the charge as Chief Business Officer.

    Maharaj, who has worked with media groups like UTV, Times TV Network, Helios Media and Enterr10 where he was Chief Revenue Officer until late last year, will see the revenue, strategy, syndication, operations,  marketing  and digital teams will report into him. Maharaj will also spearhead Bhojpuri Cinema, the leading Bhojpuri channel as an additional responsibility. He will be based in Mumbai andwill report into both the promoters Manish Singhal and Shirish Pattanshetty.

    In a joint statement, both Singhal and Pattanshetty said: “We have immense faith in the capabilities and credentials of Shrutish and we are most confident that his is the right leadership to transform our vision into reality, as far as regional TV space is concerned”.

     

    Added Maharaj: “It’s thrilling to be back working with the group and the duo. Representing some exciting products in some exciting markets will be a precious opportunity to also learn while I lead. My objective will be to help them build valuable media brands while scaling up and fast tracking the revenue mandate. Adopting a transformational approach as against a transactional one has always been a key to differentiate brands from products and we pretty much are committed to lead our group in that direction from here on.”

     

    Meanwhile, the Fakt Marathi channel will be continued to be handled by Screenmax Media currently.

     

  • Enterr10 TV to launch 2 more regional GECs, appoints Shrutish Maharaj as CRO

    Enterr10 TV Network has announced aggressive growth plans for its flagship channels Enterr10 TV, Dangal TV, Fakt Marathi and Bhojpuri Cinema with plans to launch two more specialised regional GECs in this financial year. The Network has decided to withdraw its revenue mandate from external partners and set up an in-house sales team led by industry expert Shrutish Maharaj as Chief Revenue Officer.

    Maharaj will head the business for Dangal TV, Bhojpuri Cinema, Enterr10 TV and other media brands to be launched soon, comes with over 15 years of experience leading revenue teams at India Today, TV 18, HT Media, Times Network and UTV. He was most recently the Chief Sales Officer of Helios Media with the revenue, content and back-end operations teams reporting in to him.

     

     

  • BTVi appoints Helios Media to handle ad-sales mandate

    Business Broadcast Network Private Limited (BBNPL) announced the launch of their new channel BTVi from 1st August 2016, and has aligned with Helios Media to manage the ad-sales revenue monetisation for the channel.

    Keeping in mind the need to have a content oriented sales approach, BBNPL has partnered with Helios Media which is a specialized sales company.

     

    Speaking on the association, Monica Tata, Chief Operating Officer, BTVi said, “In an environment such as Business News, it is extremely important that the team fronting the ad-sales understands the pulse of the content, at the same time, provides tailored creative brand solutions and cross-platform opportunities to inform and engage with the core audience.
