    India TV organised a day-long “Samvad Budget Conclave 2023” on February 3 in New Delhi. Top ministers from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and senior leaders from the Opposition parties attended the conclave to put forth their views on the Union Budget 2023.

     

    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and a team of experts and analysts provided insights and analysis on the Union Budget. Economists, along with income tax and capital market experts, were in session.

  • India TV Group CEO Vinay Maheshwari steps down

    India TV has announced that Group CEO Vinay Maheshwari has stepped down after a six-month tenure with the broadcast network. Maheshwari, who had joined India TV in March this year will move on to explore other professional avenues.

  • Rajat Sharma felicitated in London

    On the eve of India’s 76th Independence Day, veteran journalist Rajat Sharma was felicitated with the ‘Most Influential Indian’ recognition at an event held in London.

     

    The event was organised by Elite magazine. Sharma was accompanied by Ritu Dhawan, MD, India TV, to the event. Other people who were felicitated at the event were celebrities like Sonu Sood and Jaggi Vasudev.

     

    Upon receiving the award, Sharma said: “Any award always gives a sense of responsibility. This award inspires me to fulfill the responsibility given to me well.” At the London Bridge, where the event was held, he said that every Indian is proud of celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. “Together everyone should say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ as it is a proud moment in itself.”

  • India TV appoints Nikhil Mathur as Head of Marketing

  • India TV elevates key personnel, ups responsibilities

    In an attempt to strengthen its business and core operations, India TV has announced promotions for four of its key persons looking after business revenue, corporate affairs, television operations, and growth and monetisation functions. The company has decided “to rethink, rework and retool” its business strategies in order to make its business more adaptable and resilient. In order to enrich the role of its team members India TV has delegated additional responsibilities to its core team:

    Sudipto Chowdhuri has been promoted as Chief Revenue Officer and shall be responsible for maximisation of revenue by identifying and innovating opportunities for enhanced business.

    Puneet Tandon has been promoted as Chief Officer, Corporate Affairs, and shall be responsible for managing corporate, government and public relations for the organisation.
