  • Havas Media appoints Gaurav Pandey as Group Director -Technology

    Havas Media India has announced the appointment of Gaurav Pandey as Group Director–Technology. He will be responsible for the company’s technology direction with focus on quality and efficiency across mobile, web and social media applications. He will be working closely with Soumitro Ganguly, Senior Manager, Mobext, India.

     

    Mobext is the mobile marketing arm from Havas Media Group. With India fast becoming a Mobile First market, Mobext is adept at delivering marketing, technology and services, across mobile environments. Launched in 2007 as the mobile advertising network of Havas Media, Mobext was the first agency to offer specialised end-to-end mobile marketing services within the global arena. With teams and offices spread around the world, it now leverages significant international expertise. Mobext provides multi-screen strategy and consultancy, user experience and interaction design, cross-device commerce build and management, native application development for any platform, mobile media planning, buying and implementation.

    Before joining Havas Media, Pandey was Associate Vice President, Marketing Technologies at Ignitee Digital, prior to which he was with Digitas India for a long time. He was responsible for providing innovative and effective tech solutions across mobile and web for the client organisations. His brand portfolio includes several Fortune 500 brands like Pepsi, HP, Intel, Microsoft, Samsung, ITC, Volkswagen, Viacom18, Castrol, Pizza Hut, Axis Bank and Airtel.

    Havas Media Group India has started 2015 on a very positive note. They have won the digital marketing mandate of Ranbaxy’s Consumer healthcare brands post a multi-agency pitch which included the incumbent as well as all leading digital agencies.

    Havas Media Group, India has appointed Ranjoy Dey as Head – Digital. His key responsibility will be to drive growth for the digital offering of Havas Media in India.

     

    An MBA graduate, Dey has about 19 years of experience having worked extensively in the digital marketing domain. Prior to Havas he was COO at Ignitee Digital and was earlier with Digitas India. Dey has handled brands like Nestle, Samsung, Reckitt Benckiser, Dabur, ITC, JK Tyre, Axis Bank, SanDisk, Airtel, Pizza Hut Delivery, amongst others. His works have won several National and International awards including the PMAA, MAA Globes, Abbys and DMA.

  • Ignitee appoints Ranjoy Dey as Chief Operating Officer

    Ignitee Digital Services, the digital marketing & media agencies, appointed Ranjoy Dey as Chief Operating Officer. Mr Dey will be based at Ignitee’s Gurgaon office – managing the business across the offices of Ignitee in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.

     

    Mr Dey will be responsible for leading all aspects of marketing and operations for Ignitee, aligning the marketing strategy and brand positioning for the company’s growth in the fast evolving digital advertising industry. He will report to Atul Hegde, CEO, Ignitee.

     

    Mr Dey is a Sales & Marketing professional with 18+ years of experience; as Operations & Business Head in Agencies, he has handled & led large-scale Marketing campaign operations & project management – while managing large & diverse teams across the country. He had also taken up roles to set-up and lead e-Marketing & CRM functions from scratch in several IT & eLearning companies.
