  • DigitasLBi elevates Mark McDonald, Sabah Iqbal and Pooja Gosain

    The Publicis Group’s DigitasLBi has elevated Mark McDonald, Sabah Iqbal and Pooja Gosain to Head of Creative, Head of Account Management and Senior Creative Director respectively.  In their new roles McDonald and Iqbal will continue to report into Head of Agency Prithviraj Banerjee as they will take on larger responsibilities to partner him in managing respective business units in the region. Gosain will continue to report into Mark McDonald.

     

    Said Banerjee:  “Sabah, Mark and Pooja bring with them a duality of skills that are rare – the wisdom gained from their past creative agency experience and the agility they have instilled within themselves in this fast-paced world of digital. DigitasLBi has grown exponentially with them over the years, as they mentored their teams and produced phenomenal output at every step of their journey. Their new leadership positions do not need much getting used to, as they have been performing at heightened levels already, and will continue to help our brand grow in the future.”

    Sabah Iqbal

    Speaking about her elevation Iqbal, said: “My time at the agency (pre-merger as LBi and now as DigitasLBi in the Publicis Network) has taught me that the most important piece to the talent puzzle is culture. While my core responsibility is steering brands in the right direction with collaborative and sustainable management, I plan on carrying forward our culture and focusing my efforts on grooming, empowering and retaining talent. My goal being to make DigitasLBi the agency of choice in the advertising industry, for clients and professionals from the industry.”

     

     

    Pooja Gosain

    Commenting on her new role Gosain, said: “Change has to be steered in the right direction and that is what I aim to focus on most – leadership of the right kind.   • DigitasLBi wins Tata CLiQ’s Digital mandate

    DigitasLBi has been appointed as digital creative AoR for Tata Group’s newly launched e-commerce venture, Tata CLiQ which will offer consumers a ‘Phygital’ shopping experience across categories.

     

    The agency will be responsible for the launch and subsequent ongoing digital creative campaigns.

  • Vineet Singh joins DigitasLBi India as Client Partner, Delhi

    DigitasLBi India announced the appointment of Vineet Singh as Client Partner- Delhi. Vineet comes with over10 years of working with global marketing communications companies and has been successful in driving growth and thought leadership for iconic global and local brands. Vineet will report to Prithviraj Banerjee, Head of Agency, India, DigitasLBi.

     

    On his new awaiting challenge Vineet said, “My goal at DigitasLBi is to supercharge an already strong growth engine across new business development as well as existing partnerships. While doing this, I plan to also leverage my experience of working in both MNC and startup environments to further strengthen and evolve our digital proposition.”

    In his prior appointments, Vineet has worked with Google where he helped multinationals meet their online advertising, branding and performance needs. Moving on from Google, Vineet joined the ecommerce logistics startup Delhivery, where he helped set up their Omni Channel business in India. In 2015, Vineet co-founded Upbeat Retail Private Limited and took on the task of changing the outlook of Indian consumers towards imported goods – in terms of pricing, quality and access.

     

     

  • Rediffusion Y & R announces leadership changes

    Rediffusion Y & R has announced the elevation of Kavita Kailas as the new Chief Strategy Officer while Prithviraj Banerjee has been promoted as the Strategy Planning Head Everest Brand Solutions. This in addition to his current role.

    Kavita Kailas also is promoted to Chief Strategy Officer and will continue to be the lighthouse resource for clients and brands. “She is meant for this role. For the last few years she has been heading the Strategic Planning Function across our Delhi, Kolkata and Southern operations. She has been exemplifying every day what it means to be a client’s most valued partner. Kavita has a great love of our business, our clients and our people that infuses all that she does,” added Wadia.

     

    Also, Prithviraj Banerjee has been appointed Strategy Planning Head, Everest. This would be in addition to his current responsibilities.

     

  • Prithviraj Banerjee joins Rediffusion Y&R

    Rediffusion Y&R, Mumbai has ramped up its Planning team with the appointment of Mr Prithviraj Banerjee as one of its vertical heads for Planning.  He will report into Gautam Talwar, Chief Strategy Officer, Rediffusion Y&R.

    Mr Banerjee comes from BBH London where he was the lead on Vodafone VIP, Vodafone Enterprise Business unit and Kronenbourg beer.  Prior to BBH-London, he was with BBH-India and Leo Burnett.

    Mr Banerjee has worked on Vaseline (full portfolio), Lakme Beauty Salons, World Gold Council, Etisalat, Globalcom, Reliance Mobile, Asia Pacific Breweries and BIG TV.  In addition he has worked on several successful pitches.

    He has a Master’s degree in International Marketing from Leeds University, and his passions include travelling, photography and single malt whisky.
