  • Prateek Bhardwaj is CCO & Head of Creative (India) at Lowe Lintas

    By Our Staff

Lowe Lintas, the creative agency of MullenLowe Lintas Group, has announced the restructure of its creative leadership, with the appointment of Prateek Bhardwaj as CCO and Head of Creative (India).

Under the new structure, PB will now supervise all of Lowe Lintas’ offices, which include Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurugram, and Kolkata, and will partner Subramanyeswar S, the group’s now-not-so-recently appointed CEO. Amongst other changes, Sagar Kapoor takes charge as Chief Creative Officer, Global Brands, and will also oversee the Mumbai creative operations.

In response to the announcement, Subramanyeswar S, Group CEO – India & Chief Strategy Officer – APAC, MullenLowe Group said: “Prateek is a powerhouse of big ideas. He is one of the most celebrated and decorated creative leaders in the country presently and his work sparkles with the personality of a man who knows he is interesting enough on his own. His elevation comes at a time when clients are walking the tightrope between big data and big emotion and I’m sure he will make his idea revelations at this intersection the only (business) metric that will matter. A great quality of his is that he also cares about other people’s creative success as much as his own, maybe more. He’s an artist, explorer, storyteller all rolled into one and his taking charge as the Creative Head of Lowe Lintas India gives me the hope that the best years of big ideas from us are ahead.”

Bhardwaj 24-odd years of industry experience, having won numerous accolades for his work, including the Grand Prix at Cannes Lions and Jay Chiat Awards, and the Black Pencil at D&AD. His notable campaigns include Sprite (Bujhaye only pyaas, baaki all bakwaas), Kinley (Boond boond mein vishwaas), Nescafe (stammering comedian), the launch of tech platform Kaam Wapasi during the pandemic, Vim Black (Vim’s satirical ad campaign), and the recent #TestedBySamsonite series. Prateek has also been a creative entrepreneur who founded and ran Eleven Brandworks out of Mumbai and Gurgaon.

  • Alia Bhatt to be the new face of Blenders Pride

    By Our Staff

Blenders Pride welcomed Alia Bhatt as the new face of the brand with a campaign film, ‘Made of Pride’. Conceptualised by Lowe Lintas, the TVC has been shot by the famous French filmmaker and visual artist Jean Claude Thibaut, known for his path-breaking work in Luxury Lifestyle.

Commenting on the announcement, Kartik Mohindra, Chief Marketing Officer, Pernod Ricard India, said: “Alia Bhatt’s story of becoming today’s youth icon and one of the most talented stars in our film industry makes her unarguably the best choice for our new brand ambassador for Blenders Pride. Our new campaign celebrates the pride of being your authentic self, showcasing Alia’s strength of character and resilience.  In a world where making safe choices comes easy, the new campaign aims to nudge today’s confident consumers, and encourage them to let their pride be the catalyst in making authentic choices that take them further in life.”

Added Prateek Bhardwaj, Chief Creative Officer – Lowe Lintas: “The campaign reframes the relationship between pride and success. For Blenders Pride, true pride isn’t a result of success. Instead, it’s a prerequisite to handle success. With Alia Bhatt staring down the limelight in a never-seen-before avatar, the brand boldly challenges older notions of pride, and encourages us to unabashedly own our choices.”

  • Lowe creates campaign for Vim dishwash

    By Our Staff

Vim dishwash brand has launched a TVC as a tribute to successful women. With a tagline ‘Nazariya Badlo, Dekho Bartano Se Aage’, the campaign is a nudge to society to see women beyond archaic roles.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Prabha Narasimhan, Executive Director & VP – Home Care, South Asia at HUL said: “Vim is the market leader in Dishwash by far and has helped make the dishwashing process easier and hassle-free over the ages. We are inspired by the successful women around us who excel in whatever they do, being homemakers and decision-makers. They are already way more than chores, but sometimes get limited by society’s definition of chores being a woman’s primary responsibility. If we offload them from these societal stereotypes and the stress caused by them, there is so much more they can and will be. At Vim, that is precisely going to be our endeavour with ‘Nazariya Badlo, Dekho Bartano Se Aage’.

Speaking about the same, Prateek Bhardwaj, Chief Creative Officer – Lowe added: “This campaign speaks to the mindset that when a man does the dishes, he’s ‘helping’ the woman of the house. An act for which society applauds him, when in fact it’s something that he should be doing as a member of the household. Nudging the society to realize this double standard that exists was at the heart of this campaign.”

Lowe Lintas has announced the launch of Kaam Wapasi, a tech platform built to help migrant workers get back to work and at the same time assist employers with access to a pool of readily available workers. Companies like Zee Network, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Radiocity and Razorpod have put their weight behind the initiative, that complements the government’s initiative to fuel the Indian economy.

    Prateek Bhardwaj

Commenting on the idea, Prateek Bhardwaj, CCO at Lowe Lintas, said: “After all that they’ve been through, migrant workers aren’t ready to return to cities without a sense of clarity and control. By connecting migrant blue-collar workers with projects in various cities, we hope to accelerate the unlocking of the Indian economy”.

    Virat Tandon

Talking about bringing the idea to life, Virat Tandon, Group CEO at MullenLowe Lintas Group, added: “Creating the technology is just one part of the puzzle for us.
