    Tata Sky has added a new platform service – Tata Sky Astro Duniya – to its vast bouquet of interactive services. Joining hands with Dominiche Productions, Tata Sky Astro Duniya offers curated content created by astrologers offering advice in astrology, numerology, vastu, etc.

     

    Commenting on the launch, Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer said: “At Tata Sky we have a diverse portfolio of platform services and believe in constantly strengthening them.   • Tata Sky Binge strengthens OTT play with Voot Select and Voot Kids

    Strengthening its content catalogue to meet the growing entertainment requirements across age groups, Tata Sky Binge – Tata Sky’s OTT aggregator service — has now partnered with Viacom18 Digital Ventures to bring onboard their premium content streaming service Voot Select, and kids-focussed Voot Kids for its subscriber base.

  • Tata Sky partners Shemaroo for Hindi classics, regional fare

  • Tata Sky explores new genre with ‘Tata Sky Adbhut Kahaniyan’

    Tata Sky has launched its new offering– Tata Sky Adbhut Kahaniyan. It has partnered with Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd., to curate content for this offering. The series will feature a wide range of TV shows, web series and movies. Additionally, the service will also showcase first-ever-adapted stories from the popular Hindi magazine, ‘Manohar Kahaniyan’.

     

    Sharing her thoughts on the launch of the service, Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Tata Sky said: “Genres like crime, thriller and horror has witnessed great traction over the past few years. While there are multiple options for these genres available on linear television and OTT platforms, currently there isn’t a single destination catering to all the three content genres.   • Tata Sky launches comedy service on DTH

    Tata Sky has added a new service to its diverse bouquet of content named Tata Sky Comedy. This would be the first ever interactive service on DTH in India that provides a single destination for all formats of Hindi comedy content.

     

    The service was launched by Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial Officer at Tata Sky, along with Hiren Gada, ‎Director, Shemaroo Entertainment the content partner for the service. The launch event provided a glimpse of the service, unfolded by stand-up comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sahil Khattar, who are also a part of the service.

     

    Tata Sky Comedy offers original content created especially for this service along with the best of classic comedy TV shows like Nukkad, Ye Jo Hai Zindagi, Office Office and Zabaan Sambhalke. Every format of comedy content is being made available through this service – from filmy spoofs to fun movie reviews, from gags & pranks to faking news shows – Tata Sky subscribers will now have access to comedy content at their fingertips.

     

    The service is packed with rib-tickling content that is refreshed daily and plays 24X7, ad free. Tata Sky has partnered with Comedywalas, a unit of Shemaroo Entertainment for exclusive and new content such as Bollywood Tadka and Comedy Fatafat.
