  • Luminary podcast network launches in India

    Luminary, the US-based subscription podcast network, announced its official launch in India, with a content slate for global South Asians.  The network is launching two new shows: Konkona Sen Sharma-hosted Barefoot Boys based on India soccer win against the British in 1911, and How I Masaba helmed by Masaba Gupta in conversation with women on business, art, culture and more. Luminary has also partnered with Times Bridge to scale and expand its reach in India.

  • Cadbury partners with Mumbai Cricket Association to sponsor ground staff

    Cadbury Dairy Milk has partnered with the Mumbai Cricket Association to celebrate and support the the ground staff at cricketing venues. This includes best-in-class travel, accommodation, taking care of their nutritional needs and providing customised jerseys designed by renowned Fashion Designer Masaba Gupta, throughout the season. The brand has also extended its collaboration with Mumbai Indians as the official goodness partner supporting this initiative.

    The Cause Wear and Raindrop Media have joined hands for an initiative, ‘Help India Breathe’. Through which one can support sustainable fashion and also help someone fight Covid-19.

     

    Under the campaign, anyone across the nation can simply sell or purchase a clothing item via The Cause Wear website and fund an Oxygen Cylinder for someone in need.

     

    Notes a communique: “Leading fashionistas and women icons like Masaba Gupta, Tara Sutaria, Diana Penty, Athiya Shetty, and Nidhhi Agerwal – to name a few, came forward in support of the cause. Taking to their Instagram handles, they urged their fans and following to shop and save lives.”

     

  • Ogilvy & UNEP India launch campaign on single-use plastic

    United Nations Environment Programme India (UNEP India) has joined hands with Ogilvy India to launch a campaign to highlight its work on phasing out single use plastic. Fashion designer Masaba Gupta launched a clothing line on this occasion to send out the message: #BeatPlasticPollution.

     

    Said Atul Bagai – Country Head, UNEP India: “Addressing environmental challenges such as plastic pollution call for behavioral changes in society and it can have a huge impact when an acclaimed fashion designer like Masaba Gupta makes an environment statement through an entire clothing line.   • Ogilvy creates new film for Titan featuring Masaba Gupta

    Titan Raga in collaboration with fashion designer Masaba Gupta has launched a new line of watches which reflects both Raga’s legacy of creating stunning time pieces and Masaba’s quirky approach to design. Each watch has been created keeping in mind the sensibilities of the young Indian woman.

     

    Conceptualised by Ogilvy Bangalore, the film is fun, playful and embraces the flamboyant use of traditional motifs. And for this very reason, it created an advertising campaign which reflects this essence of the collection. ‘#TickTalk’ is a conversation about tradition, design, quirks and time with Masaba Gupta.
