  • LifeCell appoints Magnon\TBWA to develop web properties

    LifeCell, private umbilical cord stem cell bank centre has appointed Magnon\TBWA as its agency to revamp its online presence that encompasses creation of web properties for the corporate and service brands. Following a multi-agency pitch, LifeCell granted the digital duties to Magnon\TBWA taking into account the agency’s competence in web design and technology integration.

     

    Apart from being India’s first and largest umbilical cord stem cell bank, LifeCell is also the only player in the industry providing comprehensive stem cell solutions including menstrual stem cell banking, R&D and point-of-care stem cell therapy for orthopedic, and vascular specialties.   • Magnon\TBWA bolsters digital initiatives of CARE India

    Magnon\TBWA, in association with CARE India, recently launched a series of digital campaigns aimed at generating sustained awareness at a national level to create social consciousness and propel supporters to be the agents of change in the country.

     

    CARE India is a national development organization that works towards the empowerment of women and girls from the poor and marginalized communities to overcome poverty, exclusion and social injustice. Magnon\TBWA is CARE India’s agency of record since December 2013.

     

    ‘CARE India, Change India’, one of the awareness campaigns, was recently launched widely via social media channels and supported by a digital push through paid and owned media. The campaign serves as a catalyst to help transform the lives of women in both, rural and urban areas with the goal of growing CARE India’s supporter base that will provide their time, effort and resources to the cause.

  • Jitendra Sawant joins Magnon\TBWA as AVP – Key Accounts

    Digital agency Magnon\TBWA has announced the appointment of Jitendra Y. Sawant as Associate Vice President – Key Accounts, with a view to enhance its Mumbai leadership team.

     

    In his new role with Magnon\TBWA, Jitendra will be reporting to Krishna Jha, the Executive Director (Mumbai) of the agency. Jitendra’s key areas of responsibilities will involve nurturing the agency’s client relationships and implementing account growth strategies.

     

    Jitendra brings with him nearly 15 years of rich experience in marketing, business development and account management in the digital space. His proficiency includes competence in implementing strategies that are adept in establishing and managing client accounts in a competitive digital environment.

  • Magnon\TBWA announces post-acquisition senior hirings

    Magnon\TBWA has announced significant strengthening of its digital capabilities with three senior level appointments in web/mobile technology, social media as well as client development functions. This is the agency’s first round of strategic talent recruitment, after its acquisition by TBWA\ in December 2012. These hirings have been carried out for both Magnon\TBWA as well as Magnon E-GRAPHICS, the agency’s international digital delivery arm.

     

    The three appointments include KN Ajit Narayan as Group Director, Social Media Marketing, Paurush Pandit as Group Director, Web/Mobile Technology and Alok Garg, Associate Vice President, Client Development for Magnon\TBWA.

     

    Mr Narayan has moved to Magnon from Interactive Avenues, where he was managing social media offerings for a range of clients. Mr Pandit is a technology evangelist with over 10 years of experience in both start-ups as well as large organisations. In the past he has worked in key technology positions with Makemytrip.com and Yatra.com. Mr Garg comes with over 16 years of strong experience in client acquisition and managing key customer relationships.
