  • Big Magic grows to top in Hindi heartland

    Big Magic, the regional general entertainment Channel for the Hindi heartland from the Reliance Broadcast Network stable, has emerged the numero uno channel in Central India with a growth of 22 percent as per the latest TAM results for the period – week 41-50.

     

    The channel features locally relevant entertainment, with focus on drama, crime, socio-mythologicals, game shows and talent shows.

Big Magic is also supported with a high-decibel integration plan on 92.7 BIG FM, Outdoor, and Mall Activation, play-out seeding in malls, print and local cable, said a release from the company.

     

  • BIG Magic launches ‘100% UPwale / 100 % MPwale’ FOR UP & MP

    After the success of the ‘Choose Your Set-Top-Box Wisely’ campaign, which aimed at increasing awareness and empowering consumers with adequate information to make the right choice while choosing their set top boxes and also enabling operators to build their brand equity in the metros, Reliance Broadcast Network is now taking the initiative into the Hindi Heartland of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) with the second leg of this campaign.

     

    Built on a creative idea of “100% UPwale / 100% MPwale”, this campaign will also serve the purpose of driving awareness of impending digitization and empower consumers to make the right choice when choosing a DTH/ Set Top box.

     

    Additionally the campaign also provides operators a chance to build preference and equity for their own offerings.

     

    The campaign creative idea reflects the uniqueness of this region ranging from the chikan kurtas ofLucknow to Banarasi paan to the pedas ofMathura to praying at the Bade Ganpati ka Mandir, and the channel of the region - BIG Magic.

     

    The campaign will be rolled out across BIG Magic and the 11 radio stations of 92.7 BIG FM.

  • BIG Magic is No 1 in Hindi heartland

    BIG Magic, India’s first variety entertainment channel for the core Hindi heartland from the Reliance Broadcast Network stable, featuring locally relevant entertainment around Humor, Movies, Reality, Talent Hunts and Action Sports, is now the most watched TV channel with 1.14 cr of cumulative audiences (4-week average) in the Hindi heartland, thus fortifying its position as the No 1 channel in the region.

     

    The latest TAM results Week 12’12 demonstrates a tremendous increase in reach.  A statement from the channel said this quick growth can be attributed to its locally produced shows BIG Bal Kalakar, Hasya Panchayat and newly launched shows Hum Hai Bajrangi and Police Files. The channel continues to stay ahead of established channels like Mahuaa, Dabaang, Sahara Samay, ETV UP, ETV Bihar, ETV MP etc.

     

    BIG Magic’s locally relevant devotional children singing talent hunt show, BIG Bal Kalakar built around the thought of Sangeet Mein Sanskaar, has demonstrated phenomenal growth with 45 lakh viewers, striking a chord with audiences. Hasya Panchayat introduced in February, and woven around a range of enjoyable poems on modern-day issues such as inflation, corruption and unemployment has also been received excellently by audiences, registering 45.3L audiences in the same period. Besides, newly launched shows Hum Hai Bajrangi, a perfect blend of mythology and comedy, and Police Files based on real crime shows from the region, have picked up well with 22 lakh audiences in just two weeks.
