  • Havas elevates two senior leaders to COOs

    Havas Media Network India, the specialised media division of Havas India has announced the elevation of two of its senior leaders to even more senior roles within the organisation. While Uday Mohan steps into the position of Chief Operating Officer of Havas Media India, R. Venkatasubramanian assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer of Havas Play. They will continue reporting to Mohit Joshi, CEO, Havas Media Network India.

  • ‘Advertising Rocks’ scheduled for Goafest24@Mumbai

    Goafest 2024 is set to bring back ‘Advertising Rocks’, an initiative that offers a platform for India’s advertising, media, and marketing community to showcase their musical talent. The organising committee has invited solo performers to submit their entries. Selected participants will get an opportunity to perform.

    There will be two solo categories – Indian and International. Four shortlists from each category will perform for a distinguished jury and delegates.  The ultimate champions will be determined through a combination of jury evaluation and live voting by Goafest attendees

    Winners in each category will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the first runner-up will receive Rs 25,000.

    Added Subhash Kamath, former CEO of BBH and curator of ‘Advertising Rocks’: “Advertising Rocks was a big hit at Goafest last year and we’re hoping we’ll have a lot more participation in 2024. There’s so much musical talent in our industry. They deserve a platform to perform and Goafest is the perfect place for it.”

    The deadline for submitting entries for Advertising Rocks is May 15, 2024. Entries by solo performers only belonging to the advertising, media, and marketing fraternity will be considered.

  • Havas Media gets Anand Kumar as President – South

    Havas Media Network India, the specialised media agency conglomerate of Havas India, has appointed Anand Kumar as President – South, Havas Media India to spearhead the operations in the southern markets.

    Anand will be based out of Bengaluru and report to Uday Mohan, Managing Director, Havas Media India, and will work closely with the core leadership team of the agency. Kumar has worked in various media agencies in the past including Essence, Maxus, MEC, MPG amongst others.

    Havas Media Network India, the media agency of Havas India, and KlugKlug, the Influencer Tech platorm, have entered a partnership. This collaboration is aimed at introducing solutions in the space of influencer marketing signaling a commitment to elevate the impact and effectiveness of influencer-driven campaigns.

  • Havas Media appointed as AOR for Joyalukkas

    Havas Media Network has been appointed as the media AOR of the jewellery chain, Joyalukkas. It will take charge of driving the media duties for Joyalukkas across all offline channels, encompassing TV, Print, Radio, Cinema, and OOH. The account will be led by Saurabh Jain, President – South, Havas Media India, from the agency’s Bengaluru office. The win came on the heels of a multi-agency pitch.
