  • Amrit Ahuja & Viju George elevated as Chetan Mahajan quits MSL

     

     

    MSLGroup India, the Publicis Group’ strategic communications and engagement firm, has announced the elevation of Amrit Ahuja & Viju George as Managing Directors of 20:20 MSL and Publicis Consultants Asia respectively. Meanwhile, Chetan Mahajan has left the group Amit Misra has also been elevated as CEO of MSLGroup’s India operations. It may be recalled that both Misra and Mahajan were appointed co-MDs in November 2014.

     

    Ahuja who heads the Technology Practice for MSL in Asia, has been promoted to lead 20:20 MSL as Managing Director, effective December 1. Also, Publicis Consultants Asia will now operationally work as an individual brand. George has been elevated to head Publicis Consultants Asia as Managing Director, also effective December 1. Ahuja and Viju fill the roles vacated by Mahajan, who is leaving the firm after 18 years to pursue opportunities outside of Publicis Groupe.

  • MSLGroup named APAC Consultancy of the Year by Holmes Report

    MSLGroup was named Asia Pacific Consultancy of the Year by the Holmes Report at the 2016 SABRE Awards ceremony in Hong Kong recently. It is the second time in four years that MSLGROUP has received this highest of Asia recognitions by the Holmes Report. In addition to the agency honour, Glenn Osaki, MSLGROUP’s Asia President, was presented the Outstanding Individual Achievement SABRE Award for his contributions to the company and the industry during his 30 years of leadership at MSL, especially the past 12 years in Asia.

  • MSLGroup’s Glenn Osaki appointed to Board of Advisors for USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations

    Glenn Osaki, Asia President at Publicis Groupe’s strategic communications and engagement company, MSLGROUP, is appointed to the Board of Advisors for the University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg Center for Public Relations (CPR), a think tank that connects the school and its students with the $14 billion global PR industry.

     

    The PR Center’s 16-member Board of Advisors is a who’s-who roster of industry-leading communications professionals from the agency and corporate world, including high ranking leaders from Starbucks Coffee Company, Nintendo of America Inc., Las Vegas Sands Corp., Chevron Corporation and many more.

     

    Of his appointment, Glenn Osaki said “I am very honored to have been appointed to the Board of Advisors for the USC Annenberg Public Relations Center. The new board brings in the industry’s most seasoned and respected communication leaders and I look forward to working with this extraordinary group to connect businesses, agencies, academics and students to define the future of communications as well as its next leaders.”

    Osaki holds an M.A. in public relations from USC’s School of Journalism, where he was awarded Outstanding Graduate. A 29-year company veteran, Osaki now oversees MSLGROUP’s Asia operations, which include 33 owned offices and 1,500 employees.

     

  • MSLGroup elevates 4 from India to Asia regional practice leadership

    MSLGroup, the Publicis Groupe’s strategic communications and engagement consultancy, has announced the appointment of eight new regional practice group leaders and two regional deputy practice group leaders across Asia to further strengthen the firm’s expertise and leadership.

  • Jaideep Shergill now CEO of MSLGroup India

    While Mr Shergill has led MSL India, MSLGroup’s flagship full-service agency for some years now, he will now lead the group’s other arms as well – specifically, Creative+, Social Hive, 20:20 Social.
