  • ‘What the fun’, says Dentsu Webchutney in latest campaign for Vespa

    Piaggio India’s Vespa launched the Red edition in India in the month of October this year as an extension of its existing global collaboration with Red, an organiation that partners with global brands to create awareness and support the fight against HIV/AIDS. The sale of each Vespa (Red), which was presented by actor and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, Farhan Akhtar, at the launch event, contributes to financing to a global fund to fight AIDS in India.

  • Aditya Birla Capital appoints Dentsu Webchutney to handle digital mandate

    Dentsu Webchutney has won the digital mandate for two of Aditya Birla Capital’s businesses, Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. The agency has been entrusted with the task of providing strategic and creative inputs across various platforms within the digital ecosystem.

  • TI Cycles awards digital mandate to Dentsu WebChutney

    Dentsu Webchutney, the digital agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has bagged the digital mandate for TI Cycles. As part of the mandate, the agency will handle the accounts for all the TI Cycle brands including BSA, Hercules and Lady Bird.

     

    Dentsu Webchutney won the account following a multi-agency pitch after contending against eight other agencies that participated in the pitch. Having given the country a range of bicycling experiences since 1949 through names such as Hercules, Lady Bird, Turbo Drive, BSA, Roadeo – TI Cycles has always been at the forefront of innovation. Therefore, they wanted to work with an agency that could not only handle the range of brands that they have under their umbrella but also reinvigorate communication for each one of them. The mandate consisted of ensuring that each brand reached out to its audience, bringing their stories to the world while keeping the products relevant and at the centre of the conversation.

     

    The account will be handled from Dentsu Webchutney’s Bangalore office. For the record, TI Cycles is part of the Chennai-based multi-industry magnate Murugappa Group.

  • Dentsu Webchutney appoints Gaurav Soi as EVP

    Dentsu Webchutney has roped in Gaurav Soi to head its new business operations, nationally. Soi joins as Executive Vice President and will report to Sidharth Rao – CEO, Dentsu Webchutney.

     

    As part of his new mandate, Soi will identify and channelize new opportunities for the agency across its offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. Prior to this, Soi was Senior Vice President – Havas Worldwide, Mumbai.

     

    Commenting on his appointment, Soi said, “The most commonly used word in conversations today is digital. It is no longer the future. It is here and now! Denstu Webchutney has a proven track record and is associated with very prestigious brands. Known for its quality product and forward thinking, I am extremely proud to be a part of this team.”
