    EORTV gears for Goa Pride Festival

    EORTV OTT Platform and a web streaming app has announced its programming slate hinged on Pride festivals around the world. EORTV has streamed four Pride festivals thus far- Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Goa. Taking a step forward and keeping consumers’ preferences in mind, EORTV has now collaborated with Goa Pride Festival to launch a film making competition. The festival in turn is organised by Moustache Escapes.

     

    The mission of Goa Pride Festival and EORTV is to uplift the LGBTQIA+ community by raising awareness and providing access to diverse events and opportunities to create content and bring people together in the spirit of celebration, advocacy and community engagement.

     

    The content of these films that will partake in the competition will have to be based on the LGBTQIA+ community but could be from various genres such as drama, comedy, romance, thrillers, docu-dramas etc.  The next edition of Goa Pride Festival will be held from 7th April 2023 to 9th April 2023 at Sangria, Vagator, Goa. The festival is a carnival of various activities, screenings and performances.  The Goa Pride Festival stands to show acceptance, solidarity, inclusion, love and Pride.     Said Deepak Pandey, Founder of EORTV: “Over the past one and a half years, we have witnessed a high appetite for LGBTQ focused movies and engaging content. This new programming slate is going a step further to create a platform for the young talent to create good content and give them a chance to reach a huge viewership through our channel.     EORTV, the LGBTQ+ OTT platform, has named Falguni Shah as Managing Director of its OTT business.  Shah will be responsible for the rollout and management of EORTV’s content and revenue. She will also be handling the brand to create awareness for the Indian market.

     

    Speaking on the occasion, Falguni Shah, Managing Director said: “We have a huge responsibility to entertain our audience with relevant content. Also because LGBTQ is a sensitive topic in India, we are catering to the content demand with utmost care taking into consideration the sentiments of our audiences. Content is of prime importance to us. We’ve been building an innovative OTT business which we now plan to further accelerate this year.”

    EORTV launches anthem to “change” people

    EORTV, the Video on Demand, Over The Top (OTT) media service platform, introduces an anthem #BeginsWithYou to bring about a change in people. The anthem is supported by a list of actors who came forward to spread the message to the world. The message is simple – to bring the change, you must change the way you think. A tad over the top, one may think.

     

    Talking about the campaign. actor Amruta Khanvilkar said: “It was a great experience to be associated with EOR TV for this beautiful Anthem, the world needs such kind of positivity. I hope the messaging will reach out to the audience and everyone will accept and give love to each person. EORTV through this anthem has beautifully shown how we should love each and every one and accept them the way they want to be.”

     

    Added youth Icon Siddharth Nigam: “I think EORTV has come up with a great and a generous thought. The world of entertainment has a lot of power to bring change and I am confident this anthem will change the perceptions. The anthem has a powerful and meaningful message which we all should understand and gasp.”

     

    Said CEO of EOR TV Deepak Pandey: “This anthem has given me immense happiness, I am glad we did this project which is talking about a very positive messaging. We have to love and accept each personality. I think it’s necessary to send out such messaging about not discriminating any personalities and loving each and every one and treat them as a part of our world.     Said Pandey: “Unlike other corporate CEOs and Directors, I will not be the one who will sit at office and take corporate decisions. My journey of being into entertainment is valued for and I am a creative person, so naturally I will apply all of those into action to make EORTV a success. I truly believe to bring the changes in society through fresh and modern outlook to Indian digital content. At EORTV, our aim is not only to create shows, but to encourage careworn communities to spread massive awareness and create a change like no other. I believe when it comes to acceptance of any communities and gender equality, we need to understand them. Our vision is to bring Equality and acceptance of the LGBTQ community, as they are part of our society.”
