  • Welspun ropes in Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador

    Welspun India has announced the launch of its new campaign ‘Badal Dalo’ with actor Amitabh Bachchan who has been roped in as brand ambassador for Welspun.

     

    The ‘Badal Dalo’ campaign highlights Welspun’s home linen products that aim to challenge the status quo, and offer easy and convenient solutions at affordable prices. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the campaign kickstarts with two TVCs starring Amitabh Bachchan.

     

    Commenting on the campaign, Dipali Goenka, Joint Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Welspun India Limited said: “Welspun, with its proclivity to innovate, aims to revolutionize the home textiles and floorings industry with its unique products.   • Spaces weaves a new brand message in latest campaign

    Welspun India is set to weave a new story to highlight its brand Spaces with a new TVC, conceptualised by Ogilvy and Mather.

We want to help our customers in creating an lifestyle experience that they desire. Our new campaign integrates comfort messaging of Spaces with the feeling that one experience with their loved ones around.”

     

    Commenting on the ad, Piyush Pandey, Executive Chairman and Creative Director, South Asia Ogilvy & Mather said: “Spaces as a brand is known for its designs. We felt what the brand needed was a heartbeat. For the bed linen campaign, ‘Neend ka ek aur saathi’ we show how the best sleep happens when you sleep with all that you love.”

     

     

  • MediaCom wins media mandate of Welspun

    MediaCom has won the media mandate of Welspun following a multiagency pitch. Welspun Global Brands Ltd—Retail Division is India’s largest speciality company in the home furnishing segment.

     

    Dipali Goenka, Managing Director, Welspun Global Brands Ltd. And Executive Director, Welspun India Ltd said, “We are happy to be associated with MediaCom as we were looking for a media planning and buying partner who has a deep understanding of our sector and could support us strategically to meet our business goals.”

     

    This is MediaCom’s eight win in 2015. Since Jan 2015, MediaCom has added billings worth USD 80 mn from new wins, well on its way to beat the 2014 number of USD 100 mn. The 2015 wins include SAB Miller, Urban Ladder, Subway, Bose, Mango, Dainik Bhaskar, Mydala and now Welspun.
