  • DDB MudraMax wins the media duties of itel Mobile

    Following a multi-agency pitch, DDB MudraMax has bagged the media duties of Hong Kong-based itel Mobile. Established in 2007, this hi-tech innovative brand comes from the house of Transsion Holdings Conglomerate, which is a major player in mobile handsets worldwide.

     

    Having established its presence in 40 countries across the globe, itel Mobile has recently entered the lucrative Indian market with the intent to deliver value-driven offerings for the Indian consumer. Keeping in line with the highly competitive Indian market requirement, DDB MudraMax – Media would partner with itel Mobile to address the brand’s requirement of holistic media strategy, reflective of key metrics, in order to fulfil the brand’s aspirations in the country. Additionally, DDB MudraMax – Media will proactively identify & assess new media opportunities for the brand.

     

    Quoting on the association, Sudhir Kumar, CEO, itel Mobile India, said, “We launched itel in India as a mobility-based connectivity solutions provider that could help eliminate the technological disparity existing between the urban and the rural geographies. The response that our products have received from the Indian consumer so far has been highly encouraging. We are looking to build on our impressive initial showing and firmly establish itel as a brand that provides highly relevant, value-plus offerings to aspiring Indian mobile phone owners.”

  • MudraMax gets new leadership structure as Mandeep Malhotra quits

    DDB Mudra Group has announced the realignment of its media, OOH, experiential and retail businesses that are offered under the DDB MudraMax brand. It is rumoured that Mandeep Malhotra, President, DDB MudraMax has announced his decision to move on and will quit today or sometime this week.

    Sathyamurthy Namakkal, currently Executive Director, DDB Mudra Group and President, DDB MudraMax Media (including Digital), will now additionally take charge of the DDB MudraMax OOH business. Aneil Deepak (popularly known as Andee), currently Executive Director, DDB Mudra Group and Head of Ideas, DDB MudraMax, will now take charge of the DDB MudraMax Experiential business as well. Sameer Mehta, Head, Business & Operations, TracyLocke, will take independent charge of the business and will now report directly to Madhukar Kamath, Group CEO&MD, DDB Mudra Group.

    Commenting on the restructuring, Madhukar Kamath, Group CEO & MD, DDB Mudra Group said, “Partnering our clients in solving their business challenges and rewarding top performers in the group have always been top priority for us.     There was no confirmation forthcoming on Mr Malhotra. Update: MxMIndia learns that a ‘town hall’ conducted at the Mudra Max office, Mr Kamath did announce of Mandeep Malhotra’s decision to move on.

    Kavita Sadana has joined DDB MudraMax as the Group Account Director.

     

    Kavita will be spearheading DDB MudraMax’s Ahmedabad operations and businesses including experiential, media, outdoor and retail.

     

    Kavita joins DDB MudraMax with a rich experience of over two decades in the marketing communications fraternity. She comes with a multi-dimensional background of working across platforms and sectors with organizations from media publishing, entertainment and advertising functions. Her career scale has boomed from starting at Asian Age where she worked in the marketing team to heading the team at Freihert Mydia, Ahmedabad in her last stint. Her experience includes working at strong and innovative organizations like Radio City, Amagi Media Labs and Fun Multiplex Pvt. Ltd to name a few.

  • DDB MudraMax Media wins media mandate of Athena Life Sciences

    Athena Life Sciences, a startup in the space of cosmoceutical and therapeutic beauty treatment, has appointed DDB MudraMax Media as its media agency. The agency will be responsible for all media activities viz. planning, buying and implementation.

     

    Athena Life Sciences is a relatively new organization and hence its association with DDB MudraMax Media becomes crucial since the agency has become the brand’s first ever media agency. For their maiden campaign, the company will focus on building awareness for D’Free, an overnight anti dandruff lotion.

  • DDB MudraMax Media bags Tata Goldplus Jewellery

    DDB MudraMax  has won the media duties of  Goldplus, a Tata product, after a multi-agency pitch including Madison Communications, Maxus and incumbent agency  Disha Advertising.

     

    TATA Goldplus is a jewellery retail chain launched by Titan Industries Ltd to meet the specific preferences in semi-urban and rural India.  With 33 retail stores spread across four states, Goldplus is well-known for its pure gold jewellery and transparent business practices.
