  • Carat bags mandate for Behrouz Biryani

    Behrouz Biryani, the digital-thus-far biryani brand, has roped in Carat India as its media agency. Carat won the mandate following a multi-agency pitch and will now handle the account from its Mumbai office.

    Meanwhile, under this new partnership, Columbus India is in-charge of the brand’s digital account.   • R3 ranks Carat the No. 1 media agency in 2014 India Business League

    Carat has been named the No. 1 media agency in India in the 2014 New Business League table, published by R3. Conducted across 14 of the Asia Pacific’s leading media agencies, the New Business League is a market-wise monthly tally of the agencies’ new business acquisitions. In India, the tally was conducted across 17 of the region’s leading media agencies.

Founded in 1972 in the U.S., and 2002 beyond the U.S., it works with eight of the world’s top 20 global marketers. Herein, R3’s methodology for New Business League is a compilation of the most recent data supplied by 26 multinational agencies on a monthly basis. The report is balanced against client estimates, Nielsen ADEX (advertising expenditure), discounted to appropriate levels and then converted to revenue estimates.

  • Carat bags media account of IndiaFirst Life Insurance

    Carat has bagged the media mandate of India First Life Insurance.

     

    India First Life Insurance, a joint venture between two of India’s public sector banks – Bank of Baroda (44%) and Andhra Bank (30%), and UK’s financial and investment company Legal & General (26%), has confirmed the appointment of Carat Media Services as its media agency. The account was won in a multi-agency pitch with eight major agencies participating in the battle including the likes ofLodestar, OMD and BPN. DDB MudraMax-Media was the incumbent on the account. The mandate is for all media such as TV, print, out-of-home, radio, activation and cinema.

  • Carat Media wins Vistaprint AOR

    Vistaprint India has appointed Carat Media Services as its media agency. Vistaprint is an online provider of professional marketing and gifting products, for SMBs and self-employed professionals, which offers consumers a whole new range of high-quality customized products. Already well established in this space across US, Europe, and Australia, Vistaprint’s India foray is part of its strategy to enter new markets in Asia. This business will be handled out of Carat’s Mumbai office.
