  • Delhi to get a whiff of Gujarati flavour

    The ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ Campaign featuring the mega star Amitabh Bachchan is currently omnipresent. Whether you switch on the TV or tune in to your favourite FM Radio Station or flip through the magazines and newspapers, the Khushboo of Gujarat is inescapable.

     

    Now the Gujarat Tourism is now branding one entire Reliance Metro Airport Express train for a period of three months. The ‘Khushboo Gujarat ki’ Campaign in its entirety would be branded on both the outer body and insides of the train by BIG Street, Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd’s OOH arm.

     

    The train would be jointly flagged off by Shri Vipul Mittra, Principal Secretary Tourism, Government of Gujarat and Shri Sanjay Kaul, Commissioner of Tourism & Managing Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. on March 7 from the Reliance Metro Airport Express New Delhi Metro station.

     

    Gujaratis considered to be a land of myriad of opportunities. Though the impression about Gujarat is only that of land of ‘industrious people’, the state, renowned for its beaches, holy temples, and historic places of interest with immense architectural wealth, wildlife sanctuaries and hill resorts, also offers a lot to an avid traveller.

    The USP of Gujarat Tourism is its diversity of tourism products. It is being promoted as a complete family destination.

     

    The state has been ranked as the third best unsung tourist destination of the world by Lonely Planet. Gujarat Tourism also won the prestigious PATA Gold award for its coffee table book –‘The White Rann’ in the Secondary Destination Category.

  • Big Digital to handle digital promotions for Sadda Adda

    Big Digital, the digital arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, has been promoting the Ramesh B Agarwal’s multi-starrer Sadda Adda, across various mediums. The youth-centric movie, which released on January 13, has attracted eyeballs due to its promotions on popular youth destinations on the digital space.

     

    Big Digital has embarked on various activities including Facebook and Twitter page management. The Facebook page is constantly kept updated with interesting insights about the movie, cast and constant interactions and discussions. The page is also kept updated with PR activities of the team and exciting contests. Big Digital is also promoting the songs on mobile via SMS push and WAP promotion.

     

    The YouTube channel’s promotional videos and songs of Sadda Adda have received over 87,000 video views so far (http://www.youtube.com/user/SaddaAdda). Popular websites like Yahoo! and Rediff have also been promoting the film and songs.

     

    For this project, Big Digital has brought together different verticals of RBNL network for an effective and widespread promotion and visibility. The partners include radio partner 92.7 BIG FM, TV partners BIG MAGIC and BIG CBS along with BIG Street for the OOH promotions.

     

    A spokesman for Big Digital said, “Sadda Adda’s widespread promotion on the digital platform has helped the film gain tremendous buzz and popularity. The film is for the youth and hence digital marketing has played a huge role in gaining eye balls. We hope to build many such properties for our clients.”

     

  • Delhi Metro Line II is BIG Street’s till 2016

    Reliance Broadcast Network’s OOH arm, BIG Street, has retained the mandate for Line II of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). This 10.46-km stretch covers prestigious commercial, office, shopping and government office areas of central Delhi through its nine high-footfall stations.

    The stations are Vishwavidyalaya (Catering to North Campus of Delhi University and Residential Areas in North Delhi), Vidhan Sabha, Civil Lines, Kashmiri Gate (interchange between Lines 2 and 1, as well as connecting to the Kashmiri Gate ISBT (Interstate bus terminus), Chandni Chowk & Chawari Bazaar (Commercial Hub of Delhi), New Delhi (Connecting to the Reliance Metro – Airport Line as well as to the New Delhi Station of Indian Railways),Rajiv Chowk (Connaught Place – Office hub and shopping hub the central business district of Delhi), Patel Chowk and Central Secretariat (Interchange station with Line 6). DMRC has already been one of the most successful mandates for BIG Street, and especially Line II. BIG Street has successfully hosted a host of innovations for its clients that boast of marquee brands across sectors – BFSI, FMCG, consumer goods, automobile, fashion etc.

    With this retention of Line II and other DMRC mandates i.e. Line III (21 stations between Barakhamba and Dwarka)  as well as Delhi Metro Airport Express, BIG Street has access to 40 Metro stations and nearly 75 percent of the commuters, making it the largest OOH player in Delhi Metro. The lines on DMRC, when combined with its digital pods – across malls and DMRC stations, street furniture, large format hoardings, Reliance Metro – Airport Line (between IGIA and New Delhi Stations) and BIG Cinemas, provides BIG Street a reach to almost 25 lakh Delhi-ites each day.
